IDEAL atmosphere for my 2 little pre-school aged boys while partaking in SINGO! I ordered the burger bowl (special), which was absolutely delicious. Speedy service and laid back feel made for the perfect Tuesday night dinner spot. Will absolutely be back!

We’ve been running here on and off for over 4 years. Most of the time it’s been stellar food and service. Can’t go wrong with the ale chicken or club 16 sandwich.

Delicious food and kid friendly. The service was great, and the layout spacious. They even have balls to toss around. They have a specials menu that had bacon wrapped brisket. It was so good, I ate it before I thought to take a picture of it. There’s plenty of parking, it’s easy to find, and the bathroom was clean.

We use to come here all the time but the service has gone down hill. Went for lunch and it wasn’t busy compared to how I have seen it. It took FAR too long to even be attended to by a hostess. No one even acknowledged we were waiting to be sat. That should have been a sign of how the service was going to be. Very very poor service. We waited so long for someone to help us. We needed up having to get our own silver ware, water was left unfilled. We would ask and make simple requests for things like silverware and water and it would never happen. Lots of wandering around and zero sense of urgency from anyone working. That experience made me not want to go back. also including a picture of the “fruit cup” that was a side. This is literally a toppings cup that could feed a bird.

After three nights camping in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, I took a quick day trip to Knoxville and stopped in at Corner 16—and I wasn’t disappointed!

I had the salmon salad, which was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I needed to refuel after several long hikes. The outdoor patio was perfect with a refreshing breeze and ideal weather, while the inside décor stood out with quirky, one-of-a-kind decorations.

The highlight of my visit was my engagement with Jeannie, a manager filling in for the day. She went above and beyond—giving me a tour of the restaurant, making sure my food and service were excellent, and even sharing a fun detail about the décor. She explained that kids sometimes leave toys behind, and the owner places them on shelves—dinosaurs, tractors, and other little “Easter eggs” for guests to discover. Such a creative touch that made the atmosphere even more memorable.

I’ve also visited some of their other concepts, like Chesapeake’s, and the consistency in quality and hospitality is impressive.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through Knoxville, Corner 16 is a must-visit!

Our server, Travis, was exceptional!! We came a couple days after thanksgiving, expecting basic service and oh how we were wrong!! He anticipated our needs before we could even ask for them, our drinks stayed full, the food was hot and fresh and delicious, and top it all off he recommended EVERY SINGLE item, ensuring he asked all the right questions, and describing each dish in a way we couldn’t say no.
Don’t shy away from the Smokehouse Taters, or the farmhouse burger!! You’ll be glad you got them.

I actually thought this was a different restaurant that had moved to a new location, but I hadn’t been yet, so I gave it a try. They said they’d only been open for about a month. I got the bacon wrapped brisket appetizer, and banana pudding for dessert. I also tried the orange creamsicle soda, because it sounded good. The brisket was pretty good, although I think the bacon had peppercorn on it, which I don’t care for, and it wasn’t crispy…. It was soft and fatty. The banana pudding was a disappointment as well. It was kind of bland, hardly any banana in it, unless it was mushed up, and they put nuts in it, which I didn’t like. The orange creamsicle soda was pretty good, and only $0.30 more than a regular soda. It didn’t really have any fizz like a soda, though. Since they’re new, I’ll give them another shot and maybe try the chicken. Place was not busy at all, because I went between lunch and dinner, but the service was a little slow. I think I’ll have to try a different dessert next time, as well.

4☆ for atmosphere and staff. 4☆ for the deviled eggs… but the meatloaf.. ah the meatloaf.

I will go again, because it deserves another chance.

But I won’t get the meatloaf again. The meat was over worked, under seasoned, and the gravy… hmm no.

My loved her salad and the deviled eggs, so I am sure they have other stuff worth another try.

Pros: lots of seating, cool outdoor seating, deviled eggs, staff

Cons; meatloaf… price. They are not a cheap family meal.

Food was ok. Everything deep fried was pretty good. Non deep fried items were lacking. Service was very slow. 45+ minutes for food to arrive when the restaurant was more than half empty at 6pm on a Wednesday. Appetizer arrived with entrees, not before. Most of the food was cold upon arrival. I feel like the kitchen has some serious issues. I probably won’t return.

Great service. Great food. Never tasted chicken salad like that before and now I am craving it. Must have Crack in it. Very friendly people. I highly suggest trying it and give the tomato pie a try. Also the onion rings are delishious. I think I am going to come back for dinner. If you happen to be luckie enough to get Craig as your waiter ask him for his recommendations, he was spot on.
Came back for another round. Waited forever for the food.
Biscuits and gravy were different. The biscuits were flat and looked like pancakes. The sausage was bigger and thicker than the pancakes. Tried the breakfast burrito tortia was rubbery. Nothing to tie it all together. More like a wrap. Been there done that will not try it again. The tomato pie is still great.
Will definitely be trying again.
