WOWOW!!! We were just passing through and stumbled upon Corner Tavern and were BEYOND IMPRESSED. This isn’t just typical “bar food” — it felt elevated. The wings were BOMB and we devoured the pork schnitzel sammich which was on special. All the patrons were soooo nice, we were buying eachother shots (cheap prices!) and I also got to meet the owners — SO PASSIONATE about their business and very cool people. Tempting to move into the neighborhood so I can enjoy this bar more often! They have darts and a pool table too – right up my alley. Will definitely come back again, thanks!

This place is hands down one of my absolute favorite spots in town. I’ve been coming here for years — I loved it under the old owner, but honestly, I love it even more now. The atmosphere is fun and comfortable, the bartenders and cook are awesome, and it’s always a great place to hang out.
The current owners really take it to the next level. They’re friendly, fair, and genuinely care about their customers and their staff, and it shows in every detail. You can tell they take a lot of pride in keeping this place welcoming, well run, free of drama and enjoyable for everyone.
It’s one of those bars you recommend without even thinking twice because you know you’ll always have a great experience. Couldn’t recommend it more.

I would give this place negative stars if I could. Been going to this establishment for more than 5 years and have NEVER had a problem, always a lot of fun; however, sadly under new ownership it has proven to lack any moral compass. Recently, I walked in to learn that I was denied service & banned from entering. When I inquired as to why, the owner vaguely referenced that I was “antagonizing & instigating”. Except there has NEVER such an instance indicated by either staff or fellow patrons. I have never even spoken to this owner; nor she to me. Come to find out, that the new owner has a personal friendship with a woman currently wanted by the police for viciously assaulting me over a difference in political viewpoints. It would appear that the new owner seems to be practicing business based on bias, political ideology, and personal relationships – and that is discrimination. Tragically, what was once a friendly local hangout has become unwelcoming, non-inclusive and certainly not a safe space. Especially as this person seems to be condoning and supporting physical violence. I too own a similar type of business for more than 17 years and I have NEVER based my interactions with my customers on personal ideologies or friendships. I treat EVERYONE with the same amount of courtesy and respect. I am appalled by the extent of the disrespect and discrimination by a new business owner who completely disregards the standard of “fair business practices” to which all business owners are held. If it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone. As to how liable this person or their business is, I’ll let the lawyers work that out.

Furthermore, neither was your pyscho friend. You listened to a violent crazy person who came running to you making up lies and narratives in a pathetic attempt to minimize her violent actions. You believed gossip, jealousy and slander. That speaks volumes as to your lack of character.

Excellent food and service . Being LBGT I AM always conscious of my and my wife’s surroundings. This local corner bar made us feel comfortable and welcome!!

The smash burger and homemade chips are awesome!! Great neighborhood bar with good food and great people!! This is a must if you like small bars with big attitude!! Loved it and will definitely return for another burger!!

Such a gem of a place – much needed in the area. Great prices for drinks and super friendly atmosphere. Meatball sub special over the weekend was fire. Owners are so kind. Cheapest drinks in town and super clean bathrooms.

Called to place take out cheese burger and fries $14 no thank you, not in my budget,went to Culver’s $8.78 that I can afford. The only good thing is they did tell me ahead it was costly. I miss 4 stop, good food reasonably priced.
