How lucky we were to find The Corner Store. Driving from Charleston to Annapolis, spotted this on Google maps and went out of our way to drive there. Everything about it is perfect! The sandwiches were so delicious and made with care (fresh lettuce) great ham & pimento spread, great chicken salad. (the packaging of them is really cool) The tastes were so good went back in and got two pieces of fried chicken and pasta salad to eat in our hotel later that night and it was again, delicious! How could cold chicken be so good? What a fine place (and sweet person at the register!)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Fantastic!

Every visit to the Corner Store is a delightful experience! The homemade fried buttermilk chicken sandwich is a must-try – it’s incredibly crispy, perfectly seasoned, and the size is generously huge. My wife’s Brunswick stew was the epitome of comfort food, rich and satisfying. We’re regulars here, and for good reason. From their mouthwatering French dip sandwich to the innovative pulled pork hand pies, everything on the menu is a hit. Don’t skip their homemade salads and desserts either! The staff treats you like family, and the ambiance inside this former bank turned charming eatery adds to the unique dining experience. Clean, friendly, and consistently delicious, this place is a gem in Bowling Green. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality homemade food!

We needed some accommodations for dietary restrictions and the owner came out and spoke with us. She was able to make my daughters day. We took our food home and enjoyed a late lunch.

I had the “Rachel-ish” which was one of the specials today. It’s one of the best sandwiches I have had in as long as I can remember. I was there only briefly to visit my sister after a court appearance but how good this sandwich was made me come back and seek this place out online after I returned back home back to Durham just so i could leave this review. I will definitely be back the next time i am in Bowling Green to help my sister get rid of her scumbag ex. ♥️

Warm local place to grab lunch while heading north. Much tastier than fast food!

Great food, friendly staff, will come again.

Did not see a public restroom, which would have been nice. No fountain drinks/readily available free water. Had to buy bottled water. Cost was high.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ i am absolutely in love with this place! There is nothing better than a small town, cute cafe and this one tops the list! I ate here once while nearby at the Army base, loved it so much I ate here everyday after! They have many fresh salads available for grab & go or you can order a sandwich from the counter. Seriously best ever sandwich!! (I ordered the CBCR) I took a coworker and he was speechless at his special chicken and rice. We told everyone at base to go we loved it that much. You absolutely cannot leave without trying the tomato soup! Best tomato soup I’ve ever had! The baked goods look amazing too. And the staff are so sweet and friendly. They know everyone and make you feel so at home and welcome. Plus the prices are extremely reasonable! A MUST VISIT!!

What a delightful place. The best BLT sandwich I have had in a long time. My husband loved the Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese. The desserts were delicious. The little Apple Pies were unbelievable. Husband and wife run this place. Clean, fresh ingredients.

We’ve had ice cream at gibsons across the street so many times and I never knew this place existed. So glad we finally took notice and grabbed lunch today. The sandwiches were absolutely amazing. Our group got the pimento chicken, the chicken bacon ranch, and the chicken salad sandwiches and a side of their Italian pasta salad and they were some of the best sandwiches I’ve tried in a long time. We were originally going to grab ice cream after but decided to get some cookies for dessert because the food was so impressive and they were just as good. Thankfully they had some kids sandwiches too, our 4 year old chowed down on his PB&J and cookie! This place is now one of our go to lunch spots on Saturdays.
