This establishment was a block from my hotel, so really convenient location. The pizza was good, service was good and friendly. Ordered in person for a pizza to go. Short wait, barely had time to drink my beer. I’d order from here again. Indoor and outdoor seating. Don’t know about parking, I walked from my hotel. I have a preferred pizza place in the area, but I didn’t feel like driving, so this was a good substitute.

Unfortunately, my most recent experience at Corner Pizza in Leucadia was not great compared with previous visits. I’ve eaten at various locations and had great food in the past but this night was different. The parmesan cheese was rancid but we didn’t figure that out until after we put it on our pizza and had a few bites. I took the pizza and the parmesan to the front counter and the employee said, “Oh this is the second bad one tonight.” and walked away. We got food poisoning from it and were sick for a few days. I never leave reviews but this left a bad taste in my mouth and I wanted the owner to know how things were being handled. I will go back but it will take me a few months to get past the experience.

I had high hopes for this place but it didn’t live up to the hype. Tasted like Domino’s pizza but for twice the price. We enjoyed the padrino salad more than the pizza.
Service was super friendly and fast on a Thursday night.
(Update) Thanks for the reply, high key Domino’s slaps IMO, especially after 12am, but it’s no five star pizza. It comes through when you need it, though.

Corner Pizza makes some of the best and most unique pizzas I’ve ever had. They have a great variety, and the Killer Bee (with honey) is absolutely outstanding—definitely a must-try. The location itself is nice, and the food consistently delivers.
That said, the atmosphere can be a challenge. Nearly every time I’ve visited, there are young kids (around 3–8 years old) running around unsupervised—screaming, knocking into people, climbing on furniture—which really takes away from the otherwise great vibe. At this price point (around $50 for a pizza and two beers), I’d expect the environment to feel a little more enjoyable and managed.
Overall, the food is excellent and worth coming for, but the experience could be much better if the staff helped set clearer expectations for parents to keep their kids in check.

Great pizza and salads! Low key with ordering at the counter then finding your own table and they bring the food out to you. Large beer and wine selection.
We also got the burrata which was delicious. The staff was kind and helpful. Great prices for delicious food. Would absolutely recommend.

I was greeted warmly immediately. She offered me fresh slices of pizza and a menu of more. The Cesar Salad was epic. And the pepperoni slices were Huge. Nice friendly atmosphere and a wall of wine to boot. I will be coming back.

Went to this place based on a tip from an employee at the Alila hotel down the street. Boy was this person right. The pizza was fantastic (we’ve had some of the best NY pizza over the years). We know good pizza! Some of the negative reviews are a bit unfair to be honest. At their worst, this place is better than most socal pizza joints.
Update: still our go to spot and they are still killing the pizza game. We just visited their new location and it was awesome!

A beautiful day to have a nice lunch at the Coast. Happens to be at the Corner Pizza in Beach town Encinitas, CA, right off of Hwy 101. Menu was simple, the storefront was simple & clean. Staff was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about suggestions as I was inquiring about the menu selections. We had the Mushroom Queen large pizza and a Padrino salad. We sat outside at the patio and the food arrived in 17 mins. We ordered the pizza – extra crispy, and my husband sent it back to crisp up a bit more. Pizza – 12″ was OK but over- topped with arugula greens ( why so much?) I added sausage to the toppings (paid extra) and It was obvious that they are cutting food cost with very sparse toppings, covered with the arugula greens so you won’t notice? Crust was better after we had it re- toasted. The salad was over dressed with red wine vinegrette, actually pooled in bottom of the bowl. The greens was a good variety – chopped radicchio, romaine, cabbage, etc, a few pieces of mini mozzarella balls & salami bits. I got used to the sourness of the vinegrette after a minute as we were hungry. We spent $55 (incl 20% tip). Not impressed by the food, staff was efficient; suggestions to management – improve the quality of the pizza, the price point is ok as long as the pizza is well dressed. Review your salad builds – specially the dressing. A few more greenery & plants around your patio would make it more landscaped & welcoming. We will stop in again when we’re in town.

Great pizza and a nice vibe at this location. We live in the area and come here about once a week. Go-to spot for a group of friends or when family visits. Gluten free option is good, but the pie gets pricey.
Between 4-6pm is when it gets packed with families with small kids.
