The restaurant seems outdated, at least the pictures on the wall were all sun faded. They do have a veryy big selection on their menu. It was confusing trying to get into the restroom coming from someone who’s not from town. you park on the sides and walk around to the front near the street. I got an open face beef sandwich (it might not be called that, I forget what it’s called on their menu). It was the meat id except to see on an Italian beef sandwich. It was good just not what I expected when ordering that. My cousin got a chicken breast BLT club (or whatever it’s called on their menu?) she said it was just ok. We both got chicken noddle soup, which was not good, no flavor, and the noddles were way over cooked, they must have had the warmer set too high because it was also very hot. My daughter got a grilled cheese kids meal which was the best thing I tried. The waitress was nice, very bubbly and she brought coloring books and crayons for my daughter.

Before I talk bitter truth, the waitresses are GREAT always friendly and personable. They are not included in anyway in my honest criticisms. I just had breakfast there today so this is a current review. The coffee was weak, watered down, and is obviously not fresh brewed. I tried both regular and decaf but neither had good coffee flavor. Next, the wait for the food was looooooong, if the cook staff was low then it’s best for the owner to roll up the sleeves and get into the kitchen or hire an extra cook for the weekend crowd. Lastly, the food was mediocre. I had a short order of French toast and it was in no way cooked with any intention of creating a flavor full breakfast item. No cinnamon flavor, no powdered sugar, whip cream, nothing extra. So for the price it was a disappointment. Bottom line – not a place worth eating at again.

Corner Kitchen in Twin Lakes is an absolute gem! I recently visited and had their chicken sandwich, and it was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside, with the right balance of flavor and seasoning. The sandwich came with fresh toppings that really brought it all together.
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It’s clear that they take pride in what they do. Whether you’re grabbing a bite with friends or stopping by for a casual meal, Corner Kitchen is a spot you don’t want to miss. I’ll definitely be back to try more items from their menu!

I love this place so much. I always have to stop here when I’m nearby the area. Very easy, convenient, and they have relaxing atmosphere. Their waitress has funny & friendly service. All their food has good quality and portions. I feel welcomed like family on my first visit. I will definitely return many times.

The customer service is the worst. The prices are way to much for minimum food. I ordered a ham and cheese omlett and the ham was brown. My toast was not fresh like it was at the end if the loaf. The owner does not take feedback very well if you complain about one thing he yells at you and tells you if you don’t like it don’t come back. You would think that is main priority would be to make his customer happy, maybe an apology, a discount off my bill, or so21stmething. I found out his wife is the cook so that explains it. We tried ordering take out to give them another chance. My husband ordered wings….. and do you know there were more feathers on them wings like they just went out back and killed the bird. This town does not have many restaurants so our choice is very limited. It will be worth my gas and time to eat elsewhere !
