I haven’t ever seen someone make a spaghetti pie other than myself. I had to try it and it did not disappoint! I feel that I shouldn’t try and compare it to the one that I’ve made for years, but it sure was good home cooking. Garlic bread was toasted fantastic. Just the right amount of crunch.
We split a slice of pie. I wanted to try the cake, it sounded delicious, but the server recommended the pie, so we went with it. It was to die for. We left with our bellies full and we had a great time. Everyone was so friendly, including the other patrons.
Thanks everyone. Next time we are in town, we want to come in for breakfast.

Overdue review. Visited back on September 2024. This is one of those restaurants that all the locals know about . Very busy , line for take out . Seated quickly despite being pretty full for dinner time .
Server was friendly and very attentive.
I REALLY wanted to order the liver and onions but my boyfriend was ” yuck ” I bet they would be amazing here. I ordered two flounder filets because he wanted to try . I managed to eat most of it myself, despite the size. Came with a big baked potato and side salad . Was delicious.
I forgot what he ordered but he enjoyed his meal as well . He ordered a huge sundae /cake dessert ( like a pudding cake with ice cream . We shared it was so big .
He always finds the best restaurants off the beaten path of our road trips , this time was no exception. I hope to pass by in the future , and I will get the liver and onions

This is my happy place. Affordable enough to have often, and consistently awesome food and service. Cozy in the winter, full of happy people. The best kind of greasy spoon, run by people that care. I’d give 6 stars if I could!

Food was surprisingly good for the price. I don’t know any other place where you can get at ribeye steak with baked potato and salad for $12. Insane! Service was quick and attentive but kinda annoyed that the waitress took the order from another table first even though we sat down way before they did.

I was hungry and didn’t care where I stopped, and so when I saw Corner Grill at a gas station I thought it was some hole in the wall but when I went in it didn’t feel like it was part of a gas station at all. The atmosphere feels much like an old diner and the layout is similar to Waffle House or Huddle House. I was waited on quickly and I ordered a pork platter with a baked potato and a salad. Salad came out right away and before I finished the salad my meal was ready! Outstanding performance and amazing taste and good price! Real friendly service too! I had no idea I would love it this much! I recommend stopping by if you are between Asheville & Hendersonville on Hwy. 191. Might as well get gas too!

My mother and I had a rueben and onion rings. My son ordered a cheeseburger and fries. They serve good portions, so if you out of there hungry, it’s your own fault! They jave some good desserts, including ice cream. Everything was absolutely delicious, as it always is! The service is always amazing here, with a family-friendly environment. Really good mom and pops place!

We are from out of town so we read the reviews and decided to give it a try. Do not let the outside appearance fool or scare you (it’s attached to a gas station), it’s a fantastic little diner! Staff is amazing and food is delicious! I never had a patty melt before and I would order another one with no problem. Fried pickles and mozzarella sticks are crispy and not greasy. Plus they give you a nice sized portion. Pecan and pumpkin pie was sooooo good. Highly recommended this little treasure.

I have been working at a job site near Corner Grill for the last few months. Corner Grill became a common stop for Breakfast and lunch throughout the job. Between the fast service and rotating specials, it was always a great choice for a good, affordable meal.
