Cozy little local diner. I met a friend for our Christmas exchange, it was a nice quiet place for that. The patrons were sweet little old people at the time of day we were there. I got a tuna melt and it was okay. It was served cold which surprised me.

I gave this family run, family oriented restaurant a five-star rating because the food was very good and the service was very friendly. I asked for a couple of commendations and they graciously gave them to me. The food quality was very good and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. I had brunch the day before Thanksgiving. The French toast was better than any homemade I’ve had.

The staff were way attentive, friendly, and patient with out big group. The sticky floors and sticky tables were gross. We went for breakfast. The portion size was really small compared to most mom and pop restaurants.
The Skillet Sensation was good but the giant potatoes overwhelmed it and I couldn’t finish it.
The Stake and Eggs had a thin dry peace of meat. Considering it was only $11 it was what you paid for.
The French toast needed some sprucing up – I could have made these at home. Plus, the potion size was lacking. My brother was not full.
The Country Fried Stake tasted nasty. It was definitely a cheap cut. The Biscuits and Gravy’s portion size was small, but good – not great.
The cinnamon bun pancakes were delicious and my kids would recommend.
Overall, I wanted to like this restaurant but the food needs a make over and until then I wont be back.

Not a bad place to eat..
Wifie and I stopped in on our way home for a quick bit to eat. The interior has not changed much in the last 20 years – it is clean and well maintained. The service was good, but they were not really busy. The food was good. I had the Gyro platter, which was Gyro meat on some lettuce, frys, and a small greek salad, which was good. Wifie had a greek salad with grilled chicken, which was really nothing special but good, just the same. The meal was good… it was not great or outstanding it was good.

Been going here with my grandfather since I was a child,we always go for gyros (highly recommend). Ive watched the owners kids grow up alongside me, I’ve watched the family experience loss and preserve, the place and family have become apart of modern Delaware history. It just a cozy diner.

Never been here before. A nice family style restaurant with good food and wonderful service. The tables need updating since they’re really sticky even after they’ve been wiped down. The only other issue we had were the six elderly people who were taking and laughing really loudly (so that’s what it feels like when we did the same thing as teens ). Overall, my husband and I had a pleasant experience here.

Cute little building. Table tops had retro advertising on top to include the Greek Parthenon. Waitress was very pleasant. The food was good. Omelets, potatoes, and toast. The potatoes didn’t have much flavor. Prices are average. Would go again

Ashley is a waitress and a bartender , she is sweeter than a Georgia peach. Sharon is excellent also. The owner, Tenia is friendlier than friendly and her recipes are amazing, I recommend the Chili,BLT and apple pie, Really anything on the menu is great. The road construction has not helped and neither did covid but she has survived.

Came for breakfast this morning with my daughter and my dad. I ordered French toast with warm apples on top with scrambled eggs and bacon, my daughter ordered chocolate chip pancakes with bacon. After about 25 minutes I was brought by my eggs and bacon and my daughter received her food, my eggs were dry and cold, my bacon was rubbery and cold, my daughters pancakes were dry, after another 10 minutes I was finally given my French toast after being told they had to make “fresh” apples, by that point I had lost my appetite, my dad expressed to the waitress that we were underwhelmed by the food and she just laughed and offered no solution except to hand us the check to pay. After clearly seeing that most of our food had gone untouched. It was definitely a waste of $63.

Seemed unorganized. Took over 23 minutes to be served. Ordered a basic breakfast of eggs home fries and bacon. Home fries were dry and burned , eggs were dry and luke warm and bacon was cold.
A shame really, it used to be pretty good
