We were searching for a place with food and drinks that was open on a Sunday night. This place checked both boxes. The steak bites appetizer was delicious and the $8.50 (!) pitcher of Nordeast came in chilled glasses. Decent selection of menu items and super friendly staff. Looks like a great place to watch a game.

Very homely (British definition) and simple, not very big and having staffing troubles (like many places in 2020-2022) but the appetizers are to die for. The fried pickles, cheese curds, and the fried Mac and Cheese bits are superb. If you’re visit Bemidji, and this place is open, it’s immediately a must try for your group of friends.

I love dive bars and this is no exception. Service was good, fast, polite. The wings were very good, but ridiculously overpriced, 6 mid-sized wings for $14. They could use some new TV’s, but I would come here again, just won’t be eating, not worth it.

After a disappointing encounter with the manager over at the Green Mill, our concierge at the Doubletree recommended we stroll over to the ol’ Corner Bar, which she said was within walking distance from us. Being a Sunday night at 9 pm, we obliged because we didn’t want to find ourselves cold and hungry in the confines of the Trees, two of them to be exact. I had me a PB&J burger, which literally knocked the stockings off my feet. Girlfriend enjoyed her cheeseburger as well. Thanks to Bailey at the Tree of Doubles for turning us onto the joint.
Also, dipping fries in grape jelly could be a thing. Omg. Try it sometime.

I took my son and daughter in law here for lunch and was thoroughly impressed. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. We will definitely be back. A nice little place off the beaten path.
