I got whole milk with my hot chocolate and I thought it was fine. The monster Cookie was good too but I likely won’t order that again. This store has outdoor seating as well and there a water fountain at the entrance of this place.
Portions are no longer plentiful as they once were. But the price has definitely increased.
Baked goods are delicious but not cheap.
Came in specifically for the 2 for $6.99 offer and was told the “system isn’t working.” Funny enough, the system seemed to work just fine for regular-priced orders.
Not a single table was clean. Every table was filthy, even though the place wasn’t busy and there were plenty of employees around. Completely unacceptable.
This place never fails to remind you why you hate coming here.
Honestly, the way we were treated made us question whether this had anything to do with the fact that we’re not white. It felt dismissive, unequal, and borderline discriminatory — which makes the experience even worse.
I’m sure the next step will be the usual canned response:
“We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience. Your feedback is important to us…” — blah blah blah.
If you can’t honor an offer you created and advertised, then don’t market it. Period.
I had the Berry Pecan Salad with a side of Tuscan Toast…it was really great…fresh testing with lots of good flavors in it that made it a good treat for dinner, and filling.
My wife enjoyed her Tomato Mozzarella Sandwich…also a good portion size and came with a salad too.
There are other options for vegetarians too including a Tuscan Grilled Cheese, a pasta, and a couple of soups that are vegetarian. (Plus plenty to choose from on their breakfast menu if you’re there that time of day.)
Corner Bakery is reasonably priced, serves good food with good options to choose from for vegetarians, and is a great, casual, order-at-the-counter place to get a good meal.
