Decided on a quick breakfast and came to Corner Bakery, the place is very clean and spacious with a ton of seating, they also have a little room for rent. The front was very nice with taking my order, they did delay a bit with bringing out our food. When we got the food the food was delicious and fresh. We enjoyed it.

This is a wonderful local (Spring Valley Village) breakfast and brunch restaurant-style bakery. It has plenty of free parking in a plaza-style lot in front of Kroger, with two immediately accessible parking spots for the disabled. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner options all day.
It focuses more on food (salads, wraps, soups, and sandwiches) than its drinks, so do not expect a barista-style cafe. Also, while ‘bakery’ is in the name, I didn’t readily see breads like rolls or sourdoughs, though I didn’t inquire about them. They do, however, have a selection of pastries. The place is large for a cafe, with ample indoor and some outdoor seating. The pictures of local landmarks on the walls suggest they take great pride in being a part of the Spring Valley Village community.
The menu is phenomenal and quite healthy. I had the Morning Rush Bacon Wrap, and it was incredibly well made. The bacon was cooked well with a good snap without being overly dry. The vegetables (roasted tomatoes and spinach) tasted fresh AND ripe despite being cooked (the spinach was not overdone), and the scrambled eggs were cheesy, creamy, and wonderfully tender. The price I paid for the wrap and coffee was around $10, which I found very reasonable for a small brunch. Given the amount of food for the price, I’d expect to pay about double that if I’d ordered one of their larger entrees.
It was my first visit, and I let the attendant know right after greeting them. I was quickly presented with a physical menu, and we walked through it together to make my choice. Then, I was briefed on their rewards program. I was handed a table card and, after a short wait, the food was brought to me. My order came with a small, “self-pour” coffee. It was room temperature, as the coffee dispenser appeared to be off despite having coffee in it. I let the worker know, and he quickly rectified the situation, handing me a new cup. Then they made an entirely new batch, which took only a few minutes. I mean it… it was very quick.
All in all, I had a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend it to my loved ones and visit again. This is all because I have never been to a place that looked so professionally polished and yet treated me with a level of service that made me feel like I was doing business DIRECTLY with a primary stakeholder/owner. In fact, I am still not completely certain whether the degree of service I received was from an employee or a stakeholder that shoulders high interest in the business’ success.
If you want great, healthy food at a good price served in a comfortably relaxing spot with phenomenal service, come here.

This is a great space to go for some lunch and studying! The place is clean and spacious with plenty of seating- both private and open. The staff is friendly and got our food out quicker than expected. The portion sizes are very generous, so there’s plenty to take home. The only strange thing is the music choice, it has a very strange assortment of lo-fi and jazz.

The food was good! The turkey avocado club was our favorite, everything was well balanced with a perfectly ripe avocado on the very crispy bread. Both the mac and cheeses are good, but maybe under seasoned and more liquid-y than I prefer. The cheddar broccoli soup was very warm and hearty, but lacked big pieces of broccoli.

Overall, a great spot to have a relaxing afternoon with lots of great stores and dessert places nearby.

Food was good. The staff were amazing and very friendly. There were plenty of seats and plugs at most tables. The music was a bit loud, and the WiFi is just okay, but it’s a great place to grab a quick bite and do a little work.

We arrived on a Tuesday around 3pm. You order at counter, pay and sit down. They bring your order to your table. We had breakfast for lunch. I had breakfast bowl and son had pancakes with eggs. We both ate everything and were full. Price was fair for amount and quality of food. Not spectacular but our visit was okay.

Cozy little corner bakery; the name is perfect. Several seating options available: high stools, regular chairs, single seat booths and double seat booths. Lots of deli choices including, but not limited to, sandwiches, soups and desserts. Staff are all friendly and polite. I like the order style. Walk to the counter, order food, staff brings food to you, staff buses table. After all this, they didn’t ask me for a tip when I was checking out. That’s a plus. I’ve been to so many places who do less to serve self yet they still tip shame you at the checkout. It’s so prevalent these days.
Anyway, I enjoyed my BBLT (extra “B” for the loads of bacon?) and chicken orzo soup. The orzo soup broth was thicker than I’m used to at other places, but it was also heartier with chunks of carrot, chicken and large orzo. One suggestion I would make is to stop calling the Lay’s bagged chips “DELI” chips. I was expecting a house made chip not a store brand bag.
Other than that, my lunch was good. I like the decor and the noise is pretty low (I can’t stand loud places). It’s a great place to sit and enjoy lunch alone or with company.
Join the rewards club and receive $5 off your first purchase. $10.59 (minus my $5 reward) for sandwich, chips, cup of soup and a water. NO TIP! 🙂
Disclaimer: I am not above tipping by any means. I am a 20% tipper 99% of the time, but the incessant need to ask for a tip before I’ve tasted the food or before I have received the service is ridiculous.

Disappointing. I ordered the pick 2, shrimp fettuccine and the harvest salad. $20.00! For lunch size portions! The Fettuccine was just noodles drowned in a watery butter sauce with some rubbery shrimp. The salad was okay. So over priced!

My wife loved the salad, she said it was amazing! The meatball sandwich was delicious. I love potato soup but it was so bad I had to return it. I was told the recipe was changed. The staff was understanding and exchanged the soup. The chicken noodle soup was good and so was the sandwich. The cinnamon cake was dry and hard. Ate it anyway with some coffee. Still had great flavor.. return visit 7-15 2pm. Has chicken noodle soup and the pecan berry Salad. The staff was friendly. Excellent thus going from 4 stars to 5! Think it was Marvin who helped us out.
