I used to visit this location many years ago for quick lunches. I decided to see if they still have their “Pick any 2” special and they do. I selected the Chicken Carbonara, Broccoli Cheddar Soup, and side Caesar Salad for $12.99. I’ve been getting this special since it was $7.99, so I’m surprised they still offer the special for a reasonable price. I enjoyed everything except the soup. It was very watery and bland. The carbonara had more bacon flavor than chicken, so if you don’t care for bacon skip it. Overall it was pretty decent for the price.

Went for “breakfast” for the first time. I was excited to try their breakfast but then I saw the Cobb salad and got even more excited because I didn’t even know they had it. Why not idk but hey I tried it for the first time!! And oh my was it great!! I have to decide if it’s my favorite now.

Nice looking place. Service was ok, but not great. The food was the biggest issue. I spent $24 on breakfast and got a panini with barely anything in it and very stale, hard to even chew, bread. My drinks were underfilled also. The only decent thing was the wrap, but even that wasn’t great. On a Sunday morning when you are serving a lot of people I would at least expect the food to be somewhat fresh.

I ordered a Caesar salad with extra dressing and shrimp scampi linguine. The linguine was flavorless it had no taste whatsoever and instead of giving me the correct salad dressing they gave me Italian dressing. When I called the restaurant the manager “Armando “ hung up when I was getting my order number and when I called back he asked what was he supposed to do. This is terrible customer service and the food was terrible. My daughter and I frequent the other location a lot and has never had any issues. Good service. Decent coffee (4 Self serve options), Drive through, comfortable indoor seating, good for groups, wide array of breakfast food and drink items, bike service station, just off Oak Leaf Trail, great stop for cyclists, clean bathrooms, ample parking.

The Corner Bakery has brought back their DC Chicken Salad Sandwich. I’m so happy they brought it back. The sandwich consists of diced chicken, green apple, currants, red onions, celery, toasted almonds, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo all mixed together and served on a croissant. The only difference from the previous sandwich is there are no sliced grapes in it. Nevertheless, it’s still a nicely scooped portion that fills the round croissant. It is being offered at a really great price of $4.99. There are no sides like chips or carrot sticks that come with the sandwich. I bought two sandwiches and kept one for the next day’s lunch. I’ll be visiting the drive thru a couple times a week now for a chicken sandwich! They are also offering breakfast sandwiches starting at $3.99 that look good. The sandwiches are served all day I believe. I’ll be trying one of those too!

Zach deserves a raise! Had such incredible energy that was unexpected going through the drive through and had a trivia question for me at the window- lol. It’s rare for people to be able to maintain that working food service, speaking from personal experience. Love it!!
