Everyday I’m driving to work and looking at this little corner bakery I thought about going someday to have some nice breakfast and I am so very disappointed with the food and the service. This is what I ordered in the picture and took just a couple of bites and left it behind. First I found a hair in my plate which I ignored and didn’t complain about it. The breakfast potatoes were too dry and hard to chew I’m in harder than bacon. The scrambled egg was very dry to swallow. There was no creamer for coffee and no jam with a piece of bread. The food and the service everything was very disappointing.I would not recommend this place.

I really enjoyed my visit here. The pastries were fresh, and everything I tried was flavorful and well-made. The pancakes and bacon were especially good! The staff members were friendly, and the atmosphere was charming. My only wish is that they had a wider variety of cakes to choose from. Overall, a great spot for baked goods and breakfast but I’d love to see more cake options in the future!

Visited this located during a work trip and had one of theee best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. The bacon, egg and cheese croissant was so amazing and the truffle mocha was such a treat. When I return to VA, I will definitely be returning.

Met a friend here for breakfast and generally had a good time. My friend is vegan so I was asking about their vegan options (which is basically just the steel cut oats). I ended up ordering something vegetarian – but not vegan, and one of the staff who overheard my exchange at the counter came to kindly inform me that what I’d ordered was not in fact vegan. Good service and attention to detail.
My wrap was a bit bland though, hence the four stars. There was one small slice of avocado, which was a bit disappointing. I’ve heard good things about their pancakes and they currently have unlimited pancakes, so I might come back and try that.
Other than that, it’s a very spacious spot. Lots of seating. Booths, tables, high tops. The full spectrum. You could fit a large group pretty easily, and since you order at the counter, you’re not inconveniencing a server. There were some folks getting some work done here, and I worked on my laptop for a bit as well. It’s a perfectly reasonable spot for breakfast (and one of the few spots open early), but personally if I want a good breakfast, there are plenty of better alternatives nearby.

For a fast casual breakfast restaurant this place hits the spot. It’s reasonably priced for fresh good quality ingredients. The scrambles are straight forward but very good. The cold brew ice coffee was full of flavor with the right amount of sweetness. The cinnamon roll was soft and warm but expect it to be pretty sweet! I respect this place for putting out quality dishes at good prices.

Very nice experience here. It’s counter service, but they bring your food to you and clean your table after. The food was tasty and presented well. The service didn’t take long to deliver the food, maybe 10 minutes. It was a bit expensive. I bought the hazelnut pancakes and the egg scramble with 2 drinks and 2 cookies and it came to about$54. I would come back here again for a special date.

The food is decent, service is friendly. My problem is with the cost. I got a yogurt parfait and an iced tea and it was $13.18. The yogurt cup wasn’t even full. And yes I know that the prices are posted but I was at the drive-thru and didn’t realize that a small yogurt parfait would be $8. I’ve posted a picture next to a standard medicine bottle for size comparison.Forewarned is forearmed.

Clean establishment, welcoming atmosphere, and friendly staff. I ordered the Garden Gate Scrambler with chicken sausage, potatoes, and a side of pancakes. Everything was delicious and seasoned to perfection!!! I normally have to add something when I order from other places, whether a dash of salt/pepper or something else but didn’t have to do that this time. Portion size is more than enough and the syrup they provided was light and paired well with the pancakes. I’m a 100% maple syrup girl so what they gave fit the bill. 10/10. Definitely recommend.

It was a cold, drizzly morning and I just wanted to find a spot to have a cup of coffee and air for a bit. What a lovely find Corner Bakery was! I’ve driven past many times and never thought to come in. My mistake! Welcoming staff were friendly and helpful, there were lots of menu options. You order at a counter and your food is brought out. Very cute coffee area for refills. Had a delicious avacado wrap and decaf coffee. Just what I was looking for! I’ll be back!!
