This is the best place for mac and cheese. My two daughters could not stop raving about it.
The atmosphere felt like a classic, old Savannah restaurant in the best way. The chandelier made from wine bottles really stood out and added a lot of character. There’s only one restroom shared by men and women, but considering how old the restaurant is, that was understandable. Inside, you can clearly feel the cozy, authentic Italian restaurant vibe.
The server was friendly and attentive. Many of the guests were tourists like us, and the staff seemed to make an effort to provide quick and efficient service.
I didn’t try the mac and cheese myself, but my daughters absolutely loved it. I ordered a dish with fettuccine, and while it looks very simple, the flavor was excellent. The Pasta Primavera tasted like it was made with fresh, just-picked spring vegetables, very fresh and well prepared.
If you are in downtown Savannah, I definitely recommend stopping by this place.

In comparison to Bella Napoli’s it’s definitely the less authentic experience. The food was good but not great. I didn’t like the large slice of cheese on the bruschetta, it was quite difficult to add the tomatoes but was in fact delicious. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan (my favorite Italian dish) and the crust them use on the chicken is much thicker than Bella’s and had a great deal more taste of oil. Their sauce is delicious though. For dessert I ordered my favorite, tiramisu, and took one bite and spit it out. It was entirely too drenched/wet for my taste and extremely mushy. Overall, not horrible but maybe a step above Olive Garden. Bella’s feels and tastes to me to be more authentic.

I know I am not part of the norm for this place, but we had a very bad experience here. The drinks were super watered down or no flavors. The staff was more about the game on the big screen then service. But the thing that killed the evening was the food. So bland no flavors at all. I am not Italian but their was that food. Such a popular place but for us it was not a good evening.

We stopped in to grab a tiramisu dessert to go. I have had numerous tiramisu’s and feel I am a bit of a snob when I eat them. Maybe this is more authentic, but it was average to me. The ladyfingers on the top layer were dry and not soaked in lusciousness. The mascarpone was off flavored and didn’t blend well in the bit with the dry lady fingers. The bottom layer was well soaked and not bad. The mixture on the bottom was more smoky coffee instead of chocolate influenced. Very unique flavor.

The service and staff were very friendly and helpful. If you are wanting a more sweet and savory tiramisu, this is not what you are expecting. Best of luck.

Came here after an awful service experience across town and couldn’t have been happier! The server Sid was an entertaining and helpful server. The food was delicious, came quickly and was reasonably priced. The place itself has an old school Italian restaurant charm to it. Simple, classic decor match with the convenient location near the water. Was so hungry when we arrived and they made me a whole person again and were pleasant to talk to in the process.

We couldn’t have picked a better way to end our Savannah adventures. The food was amazing, the wine and cocktails were spot on, and Chris at the bar was awesome — funny, professional, and made us feel right at home. Greetings from Ohio, and we hope to see you again soon!

My family & I are on vacation in Savannah. We passed this restaurant on the way to our hotel. We got it. We tried it. Let’s rate it 1-10.

Customer Service: 10/10
– There was a 30 minute wait on tables so we decided to sit at the bar. Chris was great!
Drinks: 10/10
– Chris recommended the Moscato & it was delicious. So smooth & sweet. We also got the Jolly Rancher & it definitely lived up to its name.
Food: 8/10
– The garlic cheese bread was soooo good. We ordered a 2nd plate. We also ordered the spaghetti with pink sauce, fettuccine alfredo & chicken piccata. The spaghetti & alfredo were a 7/10. Everything was so fresh & the portion sizes are very healthy though.

Overall: 9/10

Called in pickup, arrived a few minutes later and they only got half the order. filled in the rest and waited. spaghetti and meatballs, a side order of italian sausage and cannolis.

~$40 after tip = 2 mediocre but apparently homemade meatballs. some level of also mediocre tomato sauce. 3 sausage that had good flavor yet cut through like butter, for $7 a good value. the cannoli was on the menu as $9 for 2 but you only get one, and it’ll be empty in the middle, it tasted great but not worth $9 for one.

for the price it’s a disappointment.

I had a really bad experience here and won’t be coming back.

That night the place was completely overcrowded because of large groups. It was so loud I literally couldn’t hear myself think. The restaurant clearly doesn’t have enough space to host big companies and regular guests at the same time. This should be managed better – limit reservations, close to new guests, do something. It was horrible.

We ordered mozzarella sticks, chicken piccata, a classic cheeseburger, and 3 beers.
We were told the mozzarella sticks would come “in a few minutes,” but they arrived about 20 minutes later and were cold To be fair, the waitress did offer to replace them with hot ones.

But then everything came out at the same time – mozzarella sticks, chicken, and burger. Common sense says something will be cold by the time you start eating. There was zero thought put into timing or the customer experience.

The burger was honestly awful. I ordered it well done, but that’s not an excuse for a dry, nearly inedible burger. I couldn’t even finish half of it. When the waitress came by, she didn’t ask why my plate was still mostly full.

Same with my wife. Her chicken piccata was just okay and way overpriced – $23 for very average chicken and noodles. She ate maybe 15% of it and, again, no one asked if everything was okay.

Our total was $77 (mozzarella sticks, chicken piccata, cheeseburger, and 3 beers), and the only truly edible thing there was mozzarella sticks.

Overall, this place felt chaotic, overpriced, and completely indifferent to customers.
Never coming here again.

I’m am embarrassed to say that I have referred my uber riders that visit Savannah to dine at Corleone’s. My daughter said that this was one of her favorite restaurants. Maybe if I dined in instead of carry out the food would have been better. I ordered carbonara with Salmon. Hated it!!! Chef forgot to use salt The dish was BLAND. I’m guessing the salmon was poached in water because there was no color from pan searing. Actually the salmon was the only edible part of the dish. There was sauce on half of the pasta. The tomatoes were cut in huge chunks. Worst part was the flavorless prosciutto. This had to be vegan prosciutto because this definitely wasn’t in the bacon family. I called to see if they could refute the dish I was told I had to go through the app I ordered from. Which was a hoax because there’s no customer support. Lesson learned. I will add Corleone to the restaurants I suggest my riders to avoid. “Where would you recommend we dine?”, is the most asked question an Uber driver hears.
