Mela is the best ever. Bright personality. I got the brisket. Wife didn’t like the catfish nuggets. She says they were old. The fries were cold too on two separate plates. The best part of the experience was having Mela as our server. She made certain everything we addressed was taken care of.

Great customer service. Pleasant and helpful. Food came out quickly and hot. Excellent crusty rolls served with whipped butter. Check out the online menu because it’s extensive. Appetizers, sandwiches, dinners. Tamales. Spaghetti. Ribs. Brisket. Pulled pork. Lots of side dishes and desserts.
The barbecue beans with brisket were sweet and spicy with big chunks of brisket. The coleslaw was creamy, crunchy and delicious. The baked potato salad was tasty- not too much mayonnaise. The cheese grits were ok. The brisket was lean and moist. The dry rub ribs were fall off the bone delicious. The spaghetti is more like chili but still good. Excellent banana pudding- definitely shareable.

Stopped in for a to-go order. Pulled pork was good- nice flavor; pork burnt ends were delicious as was the pulled chicken quesadilla. Service was friendly and fast. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice- great music, gods decor, etc. during the short wait. Didn’t love the banana pudding though. I’ll definitely be back!

I love Corky’s barbecue. Always fast service and food is always good. I ordered the barbecue nachos with jalapeño on the side and didn’t receive the jalapeño but simple mistake. My fault I should’ve checked before I got home. Still they were wonderful!

Forest was our server and he is the BEST! It’s rare to find a server who just quietly surveys his area and sees everything that is needed. He brought us everything we needed before we needed to ask. And his service always came with a bright, friendly smile.

I walked in and one of the gentleman servers was singing Sinatra to some customers. It was quite beautiful. I placed a to go order so I can’t truly speak to the ambiance, but I can say the service is top notch and the food is excellent and surprisingly well priced. I ordered a half chicken with Cole slaw and turnip greens as my sides and it was E.X.C.E.L.L.E.N.T. I highly recommend Corky’s, especially when you’re ravenous and you want to get down and dirty with some barbeque…. only one caution…. bring a bib.
