The place was great in a beautiful setting and decorated charmingly. The wait staff was friendly and quick but having said that, the food came out so fast that it was definitely pre-prepared and not hot or fresh. The food could have definitely been better.

If you are looking for a place to say with great food and a view of the lake, this is the place. They are right across from the lake so when you are eating on the patio you have a great view. They do not have a lot of choices on the menu but what they do have is great. We got the elk fries and panini, both of which were delicious! I would definitely recommend Cork on the Water!

We ordered fish tacos, and they came with some form of cherry salsa. Of the four at our table, three found it an odd choice for fish tacos. One enjoyed it. When one of us asked for salsa or hot sauce, we were told that the cherry sauce was spicy (hint… It’s not). Also, the fish tacos had cantaloupe in them. We couldn’t figure out if it was supposed to be a play on mango salsa.
In all, it was okay. Street corn was great. Fries were… Fries.
We got two cocktails:
Smokehouse- Pretty good. I’d order again.
Drunken Butterfly- Colorful, but… One came out too sweet, and one came out pretty strong.
Service was fairly slow.

Elk fries street corn wonderful wine. It is all fabulous. Highly recommend. Eat, drink and be merry while looking out at the lake! Wait staff is excellent.

Good fish and chips, nice thick filets of cod fried in a light batter. Tasted really good and with plenty of fries. This meal will fill you up. Good beers to go with your meal.

Was really looking forward to this new place but the food was mediocre at best. So so fish tacos. Elk fries were dried out and the sides were disappointing as well. Probably won’t return which is sad because it’s in a great location.

The view is perfect but the prices were ridiculous, $20 for 6 horribly burnt tiny chicken wings , a half a piece of corn and fries. Not worth the price by any stretch of the imagination, menu is extremely limited and horribly overpriced
