Social Profile:

Cork Dork is a haven for all people who love food, cocktails & wine. Curating the menu is Danny Amirian, a born and raised Westlake local who brings his fresh approach to cooking back to the Conejo Valley. Danny’s menu is small, but will always be changing to focus on local farms and purveyors’ best available product. Danny cooks from the heart and his passion will show on the plate. For drinks we offer boutique wines and local sourced craft cocktails. If you are a beginner and just enjoy a glass, starting to learn. All wines are available in 2oz, 5oz, and bottle formats so you can try multiple items in one sitting. Our liquor selection is curated with small CA distilleries matching Chef Danny’s local approach.

Me and my bf are foodies. I continually saw Cork Dork on open table so we decided to give it a try. It was PHENOMENAL! While it is a smaller place, it was refreshing to be able to book reservations via open table 15 minutes before 8pm on a Friday night. We got say immediately. The menu is small but complex. We shared an appetizer and both entrees. The street corn risotto and the skirt steak with noodles. Everything was amazing. The portion sizes and flavors were on point!!!! We also ordered dessert. My bf hates chocolate- I ordered the chocolate dessert. It looked so good he tried it- AND LOVED IT! It almost brought me to tears since I am such a huge chocolate lover and was able to share it with him! He also got the lemon dessert- which was fresh and delicious. 10/10 this is one of my new favorite places !!!!!

Overall absolutely amazing! The food is delicious, the servers are so friendly and on top of everything. The overall experience is fantastic. Great place to go and sit at the bar or grab a table with a group of friends. 10 out of 5 stars every time.

First time dining here and had a great experience. We sat outside and started with the $1 oysters which were great. Our server was great and made good recommendations, the manager also stopped by to introduce himself. The seabass crudo was a great start, light and mild. The smoked salmon toast was delicious with a lot of smoke/salt flavor. The baba chicken was really good with a delicious mix of spices and seasoning. We ended with the bread pudding which was good.

First off I’m giving five stars because the wine by the glass selection is really really good. Beyond that everything was four stars. Only one thing that annoyed me…but I still recommend you try them. The food was good, we had several. One dish was a bit salty for me but maybe that’s the dish, idk. Atmosphere is lite and fun. Staff was mostly attentive and I’d say the service was good. Only issue I had was we did try several wines and different amounts (you can choose). The pours seemed different. So either some were generous or some were short, which idk. Given the prices of the wine, and yes it was good wine, I think people want to know it’s consistent. However I digress, this area needs a restaurant like this. For sure to be one of the better places once the bugs are worked out.

Nailed it!! Love this place. Dishes are thoughtful and unique without being weird. Delicious, great service, a-plus presentation. Best part: they don’t take themselves too seriously. Keep it up!

By far the best restaurant I’ve been to on this side of LA. From the service to the food to the atmosphere there is nothing I would change. I love seeing the owner and the co-owner/chef in there because it really adds a sense that they care what happens in their restaurant. The staff is friendly and remembers when you’ve dined there before which is incredibly smart. The food is consistently outstanding, I have yet to have it be anything but spectacular and I order the same entree every time I go. I’ve found that it is very hard for restaurants to keep something as good as the best it’s ever tasted yet they do it every time. I truly enjoy my time here and find that them having a sommelier walk around and interact with guests elevates the restaurant that much more. I’ve referred many people who also rave about their experience at Cork Dork and I will continue to do so! (P.S. the Thyme for Cookies and Panna Cotta are MUST HAVES)
