Extremely rude younger staff member was constantly on her phone while we waited for service. She generally just didn’t seem like she wanted to be there and made us feel unwelcome. Great wine selection otherwise and pleasant atmosphere and hadn’t had any other problems in the short time we’ve been visiting the store while interacting with their other head staff.

James is so knowledgeable and a delight to speak to. Our 3 favorite wines were all recommended by him.

AVOID. Just before New Year’s, I placed an order for a gift basket to be delivered in Aiken. Cork & Cap said they could deliver it on New Year’s Day. It wasn’t delivered until January 7. There was no explanation, and Cork & Cap didn’t respond to voice messages and emails I sent to ask about the delay. This was a hugely disappointing experience and I will never buy anything from Cork & Cap again.

Cork & Cap has made living in Aiken 100% better! They offer a thoughtful selection of wines, beers & snacks with the friendliest, nicest service of anywhere. Their shop & adjacent garden is beautiful. Gosh, I feel like going there right now!

I was very disappointed by my recent experience at this store. While I value supporting local businesses, I cannot overlook the shop owner’s behavior. During my visit, he made deeply inappropriate comments about the death of another person and showed no modicum of accountability or respect.
This experience left me with a very negative impression, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this store.

I love this place. Aiken sorely needed a curated wine shop for a long time. Check out the wine tastings on Saturday and don’t miss the 6 for $60 corner in the back of the shop…you might just find a hidden “Easter egg”! Or, buy a bottle and some cheese and crackers, then enjoy the fire pit in the garden or relax on the patio.

Such a fun wine and beer store. Also, what makes Cork & Cap special is that the owners are so knowledgeable about different wines and regions. It’s fun to try wines you may never get a chance to see otherwise. They carry wines you’ll typically don’t see in the regular liquor stores. They have wine tasting often, with a nice yard and tables to relax. Friendly and fun place to visit and gather great wines and treats.

Excellent selection of wines. Very nice beers at reasonable prices. Really beautiful grounds with ample outdoor seating. A nice variety of tapas snacks ranging from high-quality tinned seafood (Spanish and Italian imports). Crackers, pickled items and cheeses. Occasional pop-up restaurant spot as well. Come check them out and support a unique local business!

Such an incredible wine selection. It is rare to find a good selection like this one in smaller towns.
The location is very nice. The house is cute and you can buy and drink in the front yard or backyard. They have free tastings on weekends and food truck sometimes.
In the winter, we are coming and using the fire pits. I highly recommend this store / experience for a weekend or an weekday evening in Aiken.

Cute, unique place that offers a variety of wines and occasionally has wine tasting. There is a nice area to sit outside, and like everywhere else in Aiken, you can bring your dogs
