Taking our time getting out of the hotel and we wanted a good brunch before a baseball camp. Of course I googled brunch places and this spot came up. Always open to trying new places, we went inside to grab a table. On a Saturday, we did not have to wait and seated immediately. The girls at the front were nice and our waiter was friendly and quick!
I will say that the Brunch menu is small but there are a variety of items to choose from. The lunch menu looks delicious too!
Our food was made perfectly and didn’t take long at all. My son was actually the first to dig in and quickly said how he was really loving the food! That is always a great thing to hear! We really loved the perfectly made potatoes with onions & bell peppers! Nothing on our plates went unnoticed or unfinished! We actually both ordered the same plate.
Even the restroom was clean and smelled good, candles are always a great addition.
This place got busy pretty quickly so we were glad to have made it between the busy times!

I’ve been here several times, and I’ve even recommended this place to friends. Today, Daniela served us. We initially ordered a Corona beer and a sangria, but she looked for someone else to take them because we don’t speak English very well. About 20 minutes passed, and we still hadn’t received our drinks, and there wasn’t even silverware on the table. We called over a young woman who spoke a little Spanish, and she told us that Daniela had said we hadn’t ordered any drinks. She treated us badly, giving us dirty looks, and at dinner, we had to leave almost all of my spaghetti without cheese. My husband ordered his steak medium-rare, and they gave it to him almost raw. I’m never coming back. I felt terrible and discriminated against. I started crying because we’re Latino, but our money matters, and our English was perfectly understandable. The woman who spoke some Spanish came over because she saw me crying, and I explained the situation. She just told me she was new and that because of the problems we’d caused, we weren’t going to pay. The bill, it doesn’t matter, I was going to pay it anyway, but I’ll never go back to this place. I felt discriminated against for not speaking English well.

Went in for dinner and I have to say, it was a 10 on all aspects.. Our server Cat was amazing, the food incredible, dessert was so yummy.. Looking forward going back.. 🙂

First off the pizza was fantastic! From the crust to the prosciutto everything was great.

First time visiting here since we stayed one night in Abilene. Friday night is definitely busy. We got a couple of seats at the bar to wait on our table. It took about 10 minutes to get our drinks and 5 minutes later we were seated. We ordered an appetizer and waited. I noticed people that sat after us were already getting food. I flagged our server and he checked and admitted his submitted order was never received. They rushed it out and Jatin, not sure I spelled it right, brought out the appetizer 30 after we ordered it. Again, he apologized and said a manager would stop by to say something. We ordered our food and ate. For the next hour no manager came by. Now mind you, I didn’t need a manager to come by. I didn’t expect anything. We just wanted to eat, drink, and enjoy our dinner. Jatin gave us our check and dropped the appetizer from the bill. That was generous of him. He was fantastic and we took care of him. The food was good and the environment was cool but a bit loud. That’s expected for a busy night. I gave it 4 stars but could have been 5. We won’t be coming back if we ever stop in Abilene again.

I really wanted to like Cork and Pig Tavern, but it just didn’t live up to the hype. The food is overpriced for what you get, and honestly, nothing we ordered felt particularly special or memorable. It wasn’t bad — just very average for the price point.
Service was also slow once the restaurant got busy. It seemed like the wait staff was overwhelmed, which made the experience feel a bit chaotic and drawn out.
The best part of the evening was definitely the upscale atmosphere. The space is beautiful and has a great vibe that’s hard to beat in Abilene. If the food and service matched the setting, it would be a much different story.

Excellent experience. The wait staff were very friendly and prompt. The meal was cooked to order. The crusted cauliflower was excellent. Mashed potatoes were creamy with good flavor. Steak was cooked to order. Would definitely come again and recommend the establishment highly.

Visited Thursday evening. Took way too long to be acknowledged let alone seated. Finally sat down. Ordered side of Mac and cheese, truffle fries, and cheesecake. Other folks seated and ordered after us a received their order. The $7 Mac and cheese was a joke. Did not even have four bites in the bowl. I was actually pretty sad, I love their pizza despite the lack of service we have received on numerous occasions
