I ordered breakfast to be picked up. When I got there, there was a long line no problem, as I watched around me I noticed to go orders were set on the floor! Including mine. How disgusting! The cashier stated, it’s ok, it’s in a plastic bag. Do you want a different bag? The owner ended coming up, she didn’t seem to understand the issue with food being placed on the floor either. She did offer to remake my food. But only after I stated the health department would be interested in this. Disappointing, since it’s close to my house, and was recommended.

If I could leave a zero I would. It was my first time there and it su**ed! I had gotten a “casserole ” eggs, hashbrowns, bacon and “sausage gravy”. First it was white gravy, not sausage gravy, just plopped on the food. I added ham and mushrooms. Paid 2.25 extra for ham, .75 for mushrooms. I deleted the hashbrowns and toast. My daughter got the same. It was brought out in this small a** dish and was gross. Didn’t even finish. Then went to pay and it came to $35.00. I was like what… for that?? I told them that I would never be back. I could have made a better meal at home.

I had high hopes going in as this cafe was strongly recommended. After a 15 minute wait I paid $ 25.00 for a patty melt, hamburger and an order of hush puppies. And a $4.50 piece of pie that tasted like garbage. Extremely disappointed. The hush puppies were straight from a box and I have had a better patty melt from Waffle House. I will not be recommending or going back. $ 25.00 ? ARE YOU KIDDING ME !

Reason for 4 stars was the length of time I had to wait. They weren’t busy. But the kitchen staff was moving like snails. Even the fantastic servers were frustrated.

Ok. So being an Optimist, a fair review of “Corine’s Cafe” . upon entering the cafe at 9am we noticed they were busy and waited to be seated. After 5 min of waiting, we decided to comendere one of the empty, un-bussed tables for the 3 of us. After another 10 min. A waitress brought us two menus and took our drink order. 5 min later she returned with our drinks and took our orders. Almost 20 min later our food arrived. Upon hunting through our plates for “Edible” items, i found that 2 pieces of sausage and a biscuit were my choices for breakfast. My eggs up were not cooked completely so they were out. My hash browns were fresh from the freezer and just as cold, uncooked. Our other meals played out in the same manner. Hunt to find something edible. The next time we saw our waitress was when she dropped off our check 6 min later. Recieving an untotaled ticket. We were told to pay up front. No thanks for comming by. No have a great day. So waiting longer in a line to pay our check than it took to recieve our food and eat it, we decided that our choice for breakfast was not the best one today. I could recommend a multitude of remedies however i believe the feedback previously posted here says volumes as to if changes will ever be made. Maybe next time if there is one
