My coworkers and I were in town for a work conference and were lucky to discovery this place. Each morning of our trip, we decided to stop by the bakery to try different things. I had the chocolate croissant, monkey bread, and raspberry scone, all of which were delicious! The croissant was buttery and crispy with perfect layers, and the monkey bread had a nice warm apple filling. The scone and all of the items we ordered were warm and fresh. My coworkers each tried different things and loved everything.
The coffee and tea served here were also great and compliment the baked goods so well. I believe their drip coffee changes from day to day, so I recommend asking staff what roast is available for that day. The bakery has a lot of options, including more savory preprepared food items like egg sandwiches or burritos. They have prepackaged cookies and other sweet treats as well.
The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, offering us refills of coffee while we were there and even allowing us to take coffee refills to go.
I definitely recommend stopping by Corina Bakery if you are in the area! You can take the T Line and walk a few blocks either from the Old Theater District stop or the 6th Avenue stop. Wish we had a similar bakery back home, but if we are ever in Tacoma again, we will be sure to stop by!

On a Saturday morning, I visited this place and was surprised to find a long line. This made me think it must be a popular spot in Tacoma, as they’ve won multiple awards for their awesome coffee! The strawberry cheesecake was delicious, and the Cortado was very good.

This was a really cute place. I only needed to get some vegan cupcakes for an event for my kids. They had chocolate raspberry cupcakes and I can’t remember the name of the other one but it had a chili on the top. It was really good and it was moist (sorry if that’s a cringe word), but that’s the best description and no one wants a dry cupcake. I would love to see more vegan options. ❤️

Everything I’ve had here has been delicious. Their breakfast items, sweet treats, and drinks are tasty and always fresh. I have ordered multiple customized mini cakes for my friend’s birthdays and they always come out moist and delicious. One of my go to spots, I stop by on a weekly basis. Place gets busy even on weekdays, but seating isn’t bad.

I had an amazing experience at Corina Bakery! They offer a fantastic variety of options, including plenty for those who are gluten-free or vegan, which is not always easy to find. The food was absolutely delicious—especially the frittata, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I also tried their cupcakes, and they were so yummy! It’s clear they put a lot of care into their menu, making it a great spot for anyone with dietary restrictions or just looking for a tasty treat. Highly recommend!

the food is always 10/10. a little pricy but the quality makes it worth the price tag. the only complaint is the drinks always are not great. i have had the matcha and tumeric lattes and both have just always tasted like milk and they don’t really follow the “light ice” request. but the vibe is really cozy so i’ll always return 🙂

I genuinely don’t understand the hype. Everything that I’ve had from here is mid at best. Cookies that are either raw in the middle or hard as hockey pucks. A monkey bread with enough cinnamon to make those pine cones that haunt store entrances at Christmastime. My last visit I got a croissant sandwich that was “warmed up” and yet somehow still frozen (?) in the middle??
Maybe their cakes are actually good but I don’t care to spend the money to find out…

The coffee and food has never disappointed me. The savory snacks and sandwiches are delicious and the sweets really do fill my sweet tooth to the max.
It can get very busy during the general rush hours which, to me, means that they are doing well.
I’ve had sandwiches, frittattas (sp?), several cookies, and an array of lattes and they’re all really good. The staff is very friendly as well.

I ordered a red velvet cake with cupcakes. The cream cheese frosting was just right, not too sweet and heavy enough. Everyone at the party seemed to like the cake. I will say it was not terribly moist but I had put it in the fridge before eating it later that night, maybe that had something to do with it? Hard to tell. Also the cake/cupcakes do not seem to fare well overnight because the next day they were dry and hard. The ladies who checked me out were nice enough but they seemed pretty vague on the instructions. So I would say next time I would eat it immediately or place it at room temperature if eating it later. The 4 stars comes mostly from the customer service experience which was great. They decorated the cake well and had writing on it. I will try them again.

I brought a small group of middle school students here as part of an elective class field trip. From the very beginning, Grace, our Bakery contact, was so kind and accommodating! When I first emailed her several weeks ago, she replied to me right away welcoming us into the bakery and offering to reserve a small section in the back so that our students could gather together and ask questions of the lead baker. Today we arrived to purchase some delicious treats! Grace welcomed us in and made sure our orders were expedited and was our go-between for us and the head baker. Our students loved speaking with her and not only got to ask our pre-arranged questions, but also thought of some on the spot. Everything here was delicious but our experience was absolutely out of this world! This will be my go-to bakery for all my future cake and treat needs. Incredible customer service and a really community oriented company. I am so proud to know this Tacoma business! They are awesome!
