Took my mum here for her birthday. Great service, friendly staff and the food was really good. We went on the lunch service but the menu still had loads to offer. Even brought out a cake for my mums birthday. Thanks for making her day special the staff at coriander lounge.

Incredible Indian food restaurant in Southampton. Service was friendly and polite, interior was elegantly decorated and clean, food was delicious with great flavor. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to. The garlic naan was soft and flavorful.

Food was decent but overly salty to my liking. Recommend- Madras prawns and garlic naan were lovely. Average tandoori chicken and chicken briyani. Lamb kebab was really nice and tender.

A nice atmosphere, the restaurant was clean, well-presented, and the service was good. Staff were friendly and attentive, which made the experience pleasant overall.
Unfortunately, the food itself was quite average and not very authentic in terms of Indian flavour. I ordered Chicken Karahi, but it tasted more like Chicken Jalfrezi with lots of bell peppers rather than the rich, spiced karahi I expected. The butter chicken was overly sweet, almost like sugar had been added, and I couldn’t eat it. The grilled items were also just okay, nothing memorable.
Surprisingly, the best thing on the table was the plain naan, which was fresh and well made. Overall, while the service and setting were good, the food wasn’t something I’d come back for. If you’re looking for authentic South Asian flavours, this place is not it.

This is an amazing Indian restaurant. I’ve been to Indian restaurants all over the world and this is definitely in the top five. First class atmosphere and service, decor was decadent with beautiful white tablecloths. Wonderful staff very attendant and cared about my experience. The food was amazing. I loved the caramelised onion on top of the veg rice and probably the bestest Nan I’ve ever had with a caramelised top. Definitely the best thing of Southampton and I will definitely be back. The doorman is also a massive bonus.

Absolutely brilliant. First class service. Food excellent. From our arrival a warm greeting by a young lady. We were seated quickly and given time to browse the menu before we were approached to order. The food did not disappoint. Portion sizes good. Had to take some home.

We went for the valentine’s day special meal. Didn’t know it was happening before booking so we didn’t realise it was going to be a set menu of choices. Could have been something I missed on the site so can’t fault them for that. Service at the start was really good was seated and attended to quickly. Took our drinks quick and waiting a bit for them to take our choices off the set menu. My partner is vegetarian so the choices for her were not the best (her heart was set on the panner dishes but the only choice was too spicy). Onion bhaji was some of the best best in soton TBF. Our mains came and the paneer was extremely spicy (even for me and Indian). Would have been okay if it had more of a flavour other than spice. I had the butter chicken which was good. The breads and rice were alright. Overall I would give it a 6.5/10 mainly due to the starter and the decorations. Did take a while to get staff attention for the bill which was quite annoying.
