I will quote the famous Bob Ross with this one. “We made a Happy Accident”. We were looking for somewhere new to try and found this little gem and decided to give it a go. We were extremely glad we did. Absolutely everything we had was great. We tried the Italian Queso fries for an appetizer. These were a 10! All of our meals were excellent and my son’s chicken and waffles were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Especially with the Honey Cinnamon butter that came with it! And the Ice Cream was also some of the best I’ve had. I was extremely impressed and will most definitely return!

We live in Pearland and needed to run an errand in Alvin. We decided to try and find a good place to eat for lunch. Corey‘s Kitchen came up as an option online, so we decided to give it a try. First of all, we loved the old filling station set-up because it was so nostalgic and quaint. When we got inside, we noticed that everything was extremely clean and inviting. It was not very crowded at all, so we were able to immediately find a table. Within a minute or two, we were greeted by a very sweet young lady who was so accommodating in helping us to choose the right thing to eat. My husband ordered a bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and I ordered the chicken spaghetti with a side salad. Wow!!! The food was absolutely fantastic! Everything tasted homemade, of good quality, and was delicious. One of the best gems we’ve ever found! We were so glad that we accidentally stumbled upon this place, and we plan to make more trips to eat here. I hope that more people discover them and give them a try because they should be busting at the seams with business. Between the comfortable and fun atmosphere, good prices, great service, and great food, we no longer need an excuse to come to Alvin. Corey’s Fillin Station alone Is worth the drive for us! Look very forward to the next time we get to dine there!

I wanted to say this was a wonderful meal, but I cannot. The waitress was so sweet and accommodating. She was super. We ordered take out. I ordered the chicken and waffles. There is no way those waffles were made fresh. They were super dense and mealy. Some processed product heated up. They gave me a ton of chicken but it had no seasoning. Super bland. The Brussel sprouts were nasty and mushy. They literally disgusted me. My husband’s fries were white and undercooked. His burger pink inside when he wanted well done. I feel so bad for the waitress. They had only one other customer there at 7:00pm on a Friday night. I should have left when I saw no other people eating there. They need to step up their game.

Not bad I liked the burger I got my daughter was meh. Liked the atmosphere seems like a really cool place to hang out and get a good bite to eat. Need to visit again and try some of the othet dishes.

wasn’t happy with my last visit food was way overcooked. they didn’t have my entire order packaged together. I had to return after I got home to go get the rest of my order which always a main entree. they also waited till I got there to tell me they where out of brussell sprouts. when they could have called me back to let me know so I could make my choices instead of having to wait on my entire order to be made while I had to wait an additional 20 mins. when I made a call in- pick up order, in plenty of time for the food to be ready. overall the cook wasn’t feeling it that day. waitress was clueless about everything. wasn’t offered anything for my time or having to come back for a main entree. my family couldn’t even eat together . overall visit was very disappointing, considering we eat here three to 4 times a month. Corey wasn’t there at the time . and I asked to have him contact me. and the waitress told me ” he might be in in the morning” and then ” you might want to try then because we can’t do anything about it this evening.” but I wanted a direct number and couldn’t be provided with one. this visit got a 1&1/2 out of 5 stars . ugh wasn’t please about anything this visit.

Came in for lunch on a Saturday about noon. Our server was friendly and offered suggestions when we weren’t sure what to get. The sweet tea wasn’t as sweet as I liked but to each their own. The chicken spaghetti was absolutely delicious as were the beef tips. Will definitely come back to have some froyo!

The hamburger and fries were good, except the bun was stale.
The hot dog itself was ok, the chili tasted like wolf brand, and

Absolutely fantastic. Every dish here is delicious – i recommend the chicken and waffles with sweet corn and mac n cheese – and the prices are fantastic! Further, while I’m not one to enjoy such things, there are fun areas made for parties to enjoy things like corn hole, and other items i honestly can’t remember right now but looked fun. The outside sitting area is amazing as well and fully shaded, though the Texas heat is too intense to fully enjoy it at times! The servers / service is amazing as well! The only problem might be parking, of which there isn’t much. So it might be best to come as group in a single vehicle.
So in summary, the food is BOMB, the prices are FANTASTIC, and the building and servers themselves are amazing!!

I wish the food was better. I had the beef tips with rice. It tasted like canned meat with salty gravy. Maybe the sandwiches are better but the plate I had was bad. The BBQ chicken breast was flavorless and the BBQ sauce tasted more like teriyaki sauce, not good. Sorry not worth $40.
