Absolutely wonderful! Food was amazing, service was great! Andrea our server recommended some appetizers and the fried pickles were incredible! We went with a classic deep dish and were not disappointed. I can’t think of any other pizza that I’ve had that was better! Only bad thing is its not closer to Harlingen! Lol! Next time im feeling like pizza, I will come back!

We recently celebrated a 55th birthday at Cordon’s Taste of Chicago with a large party of about 12 people, and the experience was absolutely outstanding from start to finish.
The team was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to reserve a table in advance, which made it easy for all of our friends and family to sit together comfortably. We placed a very large order, took time to do cake, and even though they close at 9 PM, we never once felt rushed. In fact, the staff went above and beyond—joining in to say happy birthday and making us feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated.
The service was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was exactly what you hope for from a true Chicago-style spot. This place is truly a hidden gem in Edinburgh, and I can confidently say it was a 10 out of 10 experience.
Highly recommend for celebrations, family gatherings, or just a great meal with great people. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I have tried this place twice and it has not disappointed! Jon was our waiter both times and he shared his recommendations of the menu. We have tried the pizza, wings, and burgers and the lemon peppered wings with sauce were definitely my favorite! Overall the food was delicious, we’re definitely coming back again!

First time here, and all I can say is my expectations were blown away by the whole atmosphere and food. As far as authenticity goes, this is the place you want to dine in and experience. Amazing staff and amazing flavor, from the pizza to the sides. Can’t wait to come back and try out the rest of the menu. I have to give a shout out to Matt and Lucas for catering to all our needs and giving us the best Cordon’s experience!

Cordon’s taste of Chicago did it again!! Never disappoints! This is my first time coming here after passing by for years since moving to this area!we ordered the Chicago style hot dog, the big tex burger (voted best burger by Texas monthly ), chicken Alfredo and the strawberry cream cake! The food was delicious! My favorite was the Chicago style hot dog! And my partner loved the big tex burger (it’s deserving of the best burger title from Texas monthly), the cake was delicious!! The strawberry cream filling was so good I want a tub of it the ambience was a blast from the past! Be prepared to be transported back to the past to 90s Chicago. The owners are incredibly sweet! Alyssa gave us the back story of this establishment with her dad coming from Chicago to play baseball here at UTRGV previously known as PANAM (they have his jersey on the wall!!) Their decor is all from their house!! Old Chicago memorabilia!! There’s basketball, volleyball and soccer courts! Balls provided! it also has a kids playground, outdoor seating and swings!! In the front there’s extra outdoor sitting with a mural painted of their family in caricature!!This was an extremely positive experience! This place is a HIDDEN GEM! we are definitely becoming regular customers!! It’s not just a restaurant it really is a taste of Chicago ✨

So I order the Side Salad no tomatoes no cucumbers and you would think they had COMMON SENSE to just add a little more of everything else but NO I got a small WALMART SALAD and ordered a total of 4 Ranches for wing and got just 2 and was charged the other 2 since it was take out I guess they dont care to pay attention to Detail I live about 25 min from there and the employee says well I’ll make sure that doesn’t happen again! I just found out about this place. It’s awesome. Watch out Portillo’s, Cordon’s is going to give you a run for your money!! I’m definitely coming back to try the pizza. The Italian Beef was amazing. Mel had the Gyro and she can’t stop talking about it. The portions are a good size, along with the “out of this world” flavor!!

Celebrated my nephews 8th birthday this past weekend and the service, food, and atmosphere was great!! Thank you YAYA and ISABELLA for the exceptional customer service you provided. The food is delicious!! Pizza is a must! The set up outside where the kids can play sand volleyball, basketball, soccer, and a playground with swings and slides made it that much more fun for the kids to enjoy. There is so much for them to do. They provided all the balls and were so attentive. Highly recommend for family gatherings and kids bday parties. We will definitely be back. 🙂

Passed this place Friday night, so my husband and I decided to stop in for dinner Saturday—and we’re so glad we did! The food was amazing. We had the wings, mozzarella sticks, and of course the deep dish pizza, which was absolutely delicious and didn’t take 45 minutes to come out . Everything was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. We will definitely be back!
