Cordelia’s Sweet Shoppe is the best around!!!!
You can truly feel the heart behind all that they make. Every item is made with so much love and care, and it shows in both the taste and the presentation. It’s inspiring to see someone pour their passion into their craft and the results are absolutely delicious. All while giving back to the community. I drive 20-30 minutes to the cute shop from another town over just to say hi to Angela, catch-up and grab some sweet treats. My family devours multiple pans of cinnamon rolls at a time and the pies are a holiday must!

An absolutely wonderful place to satisfy your sweet tooth! The cinnamon rolls are amazing! The owner is so kind as well. She does have a selection of sugar free baked goods and is willing to make gluten free items upon request! Edit: I tried the crossaints and a blueberry danish and they are absolutely amazing! The crossaints have a wonderful crunch to the outer layer and the insides are so soft and chewy! The danish was huge and so tasty! If you haven’t already, follow Cordelia’s Sweet Shoppe on Facebook to find out what new items they may be featuring!

I wanted a beautiful cake for my daughter’s birthday. I asked if they made birthday cakes and they said yes but not big ones. I said thats fine because I only want a small one. She said she would make a 6″ cake that would be 3 layers and asked what filling I wanted between the layers. I told her raspberry would be great. She said she doesn’t write on them but she would make it really pretty. I said ok and asked how much she would charge me. She said 55.00. I thought that was an awful lot but figured it was really going to be nice so I said ok. When I went to pick up the cake I could kind of see the top of it when she put it in the box. I asked to see it. She showed me a completely plain white cake and I said to her…you said you would make it really pretty and she said…well I could put more on it. I was so dumbfounded that I was picking up a pain cake I told her no that I had to go. I said..it’s a birthday cake. Once home I realized the frosting wasn’t even fully mixed and there was still powered sugar spots. This was not the “really pretty” cake I was expecting and felt awful to present it to my daughter who’s birthday is always overshadowed by Thanksgiving. The cookies I purchased were great but I will not be returning.

Always a pleasure to bring something home from Cordelia’s. My personal favorite is the sourdough bread, so I can have a warm slice of happiness everyday. My wife loves the Sinnamon rolls and the chili was great when they had a some available one day. And the cookies are amazing.

It’s such a fun, quaint place! “Sinn-amon” rolls are all the right kinds of sinfulness. But the cookies try to steal the spotlight. The ‘Salty Sea Pig’ cookie is (According to every single person that I know who’s had one) the BEST cookie. And you’ll have to ask the wonderful owners the story behind the “Pig Bread” boxes. You’ll be glad you asked because ‘Cordelia’ is a wonderful storyteller. I’m really excited to see what this summer brings; I’m told they’re planning big things.

I only regret that I cut into the loaves before taking pictures (and only picked up two). I tried the jalapeño cheese bread and the garlic herbal bread and was WOWED by both! The jalapeño is quite mild spicy-wise, with a nice sourdough bite and cheesy tartness. The garlic herbal is definitely milder overall but it still has an aftermath sourdough kick. Fabulous when toasted. This will definitely be one of my drop-in spots when going through Sauk!

This bakery has captured my heart. Everything is made from scratch. The owners are amazing people who put their heart into everything they produce. The cinnamon rolls are beyond amazing and their croissants and danishes…I could go on forever about them!

I tried a chocolate chip ice cream sandwich on Thursday. Absolutely delicious! The 2 cookies were loaded with chocolate chips and the ice cream had chips along the edge also. And the owner is so friendly and gives back to the community❤️

Wow!!! DELICIOUS, everything! Cookies, cinnamon rolls, the bread… it’s all great! Not only is the food amazing, but so are the people who make it! Extremely inviting space. I wish all of the shops that sold baked goods in Sauk were as inviting! I will definitely be back and telling everyone I know to pop in. Worth the visit and supporting such lovely people who are making the world a little bit sweeter.
