It was a place to eat food where there weren’t many.
First of all it was extremely difficult to find. Google took us to a train station which was about 2 miles from the actual restaurant that is at the Marina. It took two phone calls to the resort for directions and they kept saying look for the sign. There happens to be just 1 sign and it is approximately 1’x2’ in size and it’s etched into the glass on the front door so basically invisible. Needless to say we found it and went in. There is no menu it is a breakfast buffet. Honestly it wasn’t terrible food but it was the only food we could find so I wasn’t going to be picky. The only waitress was doing the best she could handling the rather large number of people dining. If it were not for hunger I probably would have gone elsewhere.

Very nice spot near the water. Staff was extremely friendly and the fried pimento cheese fritters are amazing!

This place is VERY good! The quality of the food is worth the price. I personally love the pimento fritters for an appetizer. So far we have had dinner here twice and it was excellent. Our waitress was very kind and on top of things. Also, the view of the lake was a bonus. We will return.

This restaurant was egh, it was edible but should have been much better for the cost. Don’t waste your money. We ordered appetizers and dinner. Husband had barely returned from salad bar and our apps arrived. We weren’t even half way through apps and dinner arrived. Husband wanted the Lasagna Florentine – they didn’t have it. I wanted a glass of wine – they didn’t have any White Zinfandel, Blush or Riesling wines. Wings (garlic parm) were good. House Sprouts described as “crispy Brussel sprouts” were good but not crispy at all, they were actually quite watery. I had the Seared Salmon – salmon and green beans were good and hot, mashed potatoes were good but barely warm. Chicken Parmesan had fried chicken cutlets that had been cooked too many times (dry) and a marinara that needed a visit from the spice rack. And they don’t have desserts.

Called ahead and confirmed hours on the website since Google previously had them listed as only 5-9pm; to which I submitted an update. Breakfast is 7 days a week. My son and I enjoyed the continental buffet breakfast with good solid offerings of Southern staples such as biscuits n’ gravy and grits. We also enjoyed the fresh fruit offerings and were very pleased with the quality of food for about $8 per person. We fueled up and were ready to go for our golf outing at the GA Veterans Memorial Golf Course. Will definitely return, but next time will order from the menu to explore what the kitchen can really do.

We went for Thanksgiving dinner. Food was wonderful. The display of food was good, the choices were very nice and the place was clean. The staff were friendly and attentive and all was well until the bill came. We were a party of four: 2 seniors, a 16 year old and an adult. We had reserved and had the menu online that gave different prices for adults, seniors and kids 12+ and under 12.We were told all prices were the same but we had the online pricing to back us up. Unfortunately, that meant the first server telling us no, another server came over and then another until we had 3 with us. One of those servers was pleasant, Rashundra (sic?), the others had very unhappy faces and demeanors. As Determined as they were to deny us the correct pricing, I began to wonder if it was coming out of their pockets! Thankfully Rashundra (sic) was pleasant the entire time and corrected the errors. It almost turned into a very bad situation, she stayed pleasant the entire time, corrected the errors and we were thankful.
