Would recommend anyone to stop in for a drink and some bar food. The place has a great look to it. Very clean and had a comfortable atmosphere. I can’t really say that I’m a fan of the food. But. That does not mean you won’t be. We had fried pickles, poppers, and a BBQ chicken pizza, we had to try the bloody Mary with the giant stack of stuff the the little mini burger was probably my favorite part of everything we had. Again stop by and support them. Katie was our server bartender and cook. She was super sweet. Thanks for having us Corby’s we shall be back for sure Hopefully to see what the night life looks like.

Looked like a cool place online, didn’t read the reviews, thats my bad. Came in, one person at the bar, greated from the kitchen, “be right there…” we found a seat and waited 15 minutes, got tired of waiting and went to get a menu when the waitress appeared… got our menus, ordered Diet sodas and ordered the grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup. The soda came, it was flat, the meal came and was half a bowl of cold soup, and grilled cheese, that didnt taste good… waitress never reappeared to address anything, whether food was good or needed refills nothing. At that time we were the only people there, probably a sign, everyone else knew to avoid the place. The pizza joint was absolutly full!! Should have waited. Check came to $32.00, told the waitress the meal was terrible, she said “well im the only one here…” too which i said we were the only customers… she didnt care. Maybe short timers syndrome since i see posts of last weekend for someone no clue if that was her, but the building was awesome and could have been a great place.

Great atmosphere! Even on New Years night still felt welcomed and taken care of instead of just another order. Definitely stop here if your looking to be taken care of as family or friend even when you don’t know anyone!

We ordered Delivery for my Birthday dinner wanting to try something new, we ordered the BBQ brisket pizza, the taco pizza, the taco wontons and fried cheese sticks …..boy what a disappointment! Even if asides from
the wrong pizza topping they made the BBQ pizza with chicken and not brisket, which is what we ordered. the taco won tons are advertised as meat and cheese yet they had corn in them and I don’t care for corn, the taco pizza sounded good yet had hard dry meat on it that I can only guess was brisket and flavorless…what a bummer….I was like at least I can eat the cheese sticks but they where so overcooked they where hard as rocks ….I hope this isn’t how it is every day…I really wanted to love it but it was honestly terrible….a bummer

Ordered delivery of their poutine and kids chicken strip meal. Got very very little topping on the poutine, said it came with cheese curds and there were none at all and the kids food had hardly any fries and no applesauce either. Big disappointment

I have seen the advertising all over FB, I was nursing sick children all week & just didn’t want to cook. I Called up and ordered
#)1 Chicken Strips & Fries
#2) CheeseBurger & fries
#3) Kid”s Burger Basket
( That was mine)
#4) Crispy Chicken Wrap
#5) Loaded Potato skins
(We were told they no longer serve those and that was an old menu. Yet, when I went in to pick up my food, it was labeled on the front mirror as an App. for $8. )
So, on the phone as a replacement for the tater skins we chose
#5) Loaded FF
… Ok, so I will address the service. Best service I have had in this town- hands down. I went in, (in a bad mood and tired ‍ ) and left with a smile on my face . The bartender, cook (title?) was just a sweetheart. Easy in the eyes helps but hey So the food varied from OMG YUM! to Ewww. All foods that were fried… amazing. Crispy, perfectly cooked and quite tasty. The onion rings I had to fight my daughter for They we’re a hit. My son LOVED the chicken wrap and I appreciate the modifications so I could make a very picky eater happy. Thanks so much! I have to address the only Eww. Both burgers tasted like fish. My daughter immediately put hers down shaking her head . I was like… NO WAY, the rest of the food was amazing. How could the burgers be anything BUT? I grabbed mine (the kids basket) and took a bite and Yes. It tasted like straight up fish. I am not sure what the deal was but it didn’t taste good at all. The loaded FF went to waste. The ranch? Sauce just didn’t fly for the kids
The inside of Corby’s is kind of a let down. I wanted to grab my glass cleaner and my duster and clean the mirror and register area. After all the stuff that’s out there it makes someone like me who is high risk think twice & wonder if we have actual reason for worry? Will we come back? For onion rings and. Jack-n-coke THAT tasty?

Just stopped in Dallas Forty for the first time tonight. Why? I saw a post on the FB Dallas Community Board for a signature martini. No I’m not a lush lol. Just sounded really good. Yep delicious. I wasn’t disappointed.

Place wasn’t busy – you guys need to turn off the tv’s and computers and head out for a fun time. They have a pool and shuffle board table I haven’t seen in years! The booths (please keep them) are so comfortable. No they aren’t paying me for this praise lol. I believe in shopping locally. That includes a great martini!

They don’t have a full menu yet, but I think a group of friends, a few drinks, and a friendly pool game would hit the mark for a fun evening. Have to live with the renovation but that’s ok too! I don’t often make recommendations but this place earns the mark for hospitality. Promise I’m not a critic. Just an average person who has a small farm locally. Show them some love !

Corby’s public house is my favorite bar in town! The bartenders seem to really love what they do and have great pride in the job and bar in general! 10/10 would recommend!
