Everything was great at this restaurant. Prices a little dhigh, but the food was excellent and fresh. The service was great and the atmosphere was really nice. You can actually have a conversation here. Not nisy like other restaurants.

The bet salad was good. For main course I ordered clams fra Diablo. It was too salty. I ate the clams and left the pasta. My husband ordered the rigatoni bolognese. It needed more tomato sauce. Our friend ordered the calamare fra diablo. He thought it was OK. The dessert was OK.

I have ordered from this place several times. Ordered the veal chop parm. Was on the bone in a a big tray and was always delicious. Today I ordered veal chop parm. Was in a little container. No bone and is pork pounded down. Guess that is why there is no bone. If you can’t afford to sell veal take it off the menu and don’t sell pork. That is a big scam with restaurants. Total waste of money. Will never eat there again. Veal is not white and chewy.

Came here on a Sunday night so they were very quiet. Food is pretty good especially for the price and the service was attentive but what’s with the 3.5% credit card fee? Maybe I missed it on the menu and I know it’s more common in NJ now but for a “nicer” restaurant, up your food prices and don’t pass the fee onto customers.

I was motivated to dine at this restaurant because of a promo that came up on my Instagram (20% off my meal Tuesday-Thursday) We had a great experience at Corbo & Sons. Our serverJess was nice and very helpful. Jess served our food in a good timely manner and was helpful by answering some of the questions we had. The restaurant is clean has great decor. The food tasted very fresh and had unique flavors. We love the Fried Calamari and Bolognese Pasta. Good price for the type of restaurant and for what you get. Will definitely be back.

UPDATE- After visiting multiple times, Corbo and Sons never disappoints. The specials tonight were particularly satisfying after a hard workout at the new Lifetime nearby. Jess was spot on with friendly and charming service.

Corbo and Sons is such a great addition to the Red Bank area. It’s tucked at the back of the Shrewsbury Village Shops so don’t miss it. We had their amazing Caesar and beet salads (both visits) and a variety of their fresh pasta and entrees. The bolognese was also a repeat. Everything is prepared with attention to detail, like my airline chicken breast and the super fresh anchovies for the caesar. Richard and team have created a gem of a restaurant; and Juan’s service was friendly and top notch. BYOB makes it a particularly special, yet affordable,
night out.

My first time coming here and was very impressed by the food. Bolognese (added burata), hot honey pizza, and flat iron steak were all very good. My girlfriend loves bolognese so for her to sign off on theirs says something. We had a 7:45 res and showed up early at 7:20 and they accommodated and sat us right away which for me is a good sign. The atmosphere is meh (for example we sat next to a white wall with nothing on it so things felt unfinished), so that’s something they could improve on, but the service was great. The menu is also pretty cool, with some traditional Roman and Sicilian dishes sprinkled in like bucatini amatriciana and arancini, which you don’t see in many restaurants in NJ/NY. There are a lot of Italian restaurants around Monmouth county but few have the quality of food as here. It deserves more hype than it gets. Definitely glad we went and we’ll certainly be coming back.

Absolutely delicious food. Huge wow to the ravioli and corn dish. Steak was perfect and flavorful. Small restaurant really nice inside with happy staff. Great meatballs and pizza as well. Really good food. Must try spot.

Jessica was our server. There was no one else in the restaurant and we had a large party. I had to physically get up multiple times and request water, bread, salt and pepper for the table. We waited 2 hours for food and it was not great. Go spend your money elsewhere. Won’t be back

I had reviewed this restaurant highly but the last time (3rd time) was extremely disappointing. We had reservations and waited 15 min to be seated. Once we were seated, it was literally difficult to hear the waitress because it was so noisy. The restaurant was of course very busy, it was a Saturday night, but the noise was overwhelming for us and the couple that went with us. I asked for bread multiple times before it arrived after the appetizers were already on the table. They were out of many things, like the salmon. The bread was not the same bread as in our other visits. They had just served it to the table next to us. The food took very long to arrive and at the end, either the owner or the hostess came by to apologize. By that point, we were extremely frustrated. As I said I had given this place a great review but consistent service and food is the key and I don’t feel this place is consistently good. This makes me sad because I had high hopes this would be our go to place since we live nearby.
