Attentive service. Food reminiscent of Puerto Rico. Made with passion and joy, the food was freshly prepared to order. This is not fast food.

One of the best Puerto Rican food around. We drove from Boca Raton to try it out and it definitely did not disappoint. The mofongo is amazing.

Absolutely love this place! You want good Puerto Rican food like back home, come here. They have the best mofongo in all of South Florida, and if you think otherwise, you’re wrong. You can’t go wrong by coming down. Buen provecho mi gente!

This is a little Puerto Rican restaurant with really good food, we dined in and were surprised of the amount of people picking up their food “to go”, it was non stop.
The prices are really affordable, the amount of food they give us was more than we expected, and the taste was delicious. The arroz mamposteado was definitely my favorite!!! Our kids are really picky with what they eat, and they both were really pleased with their chicken tenders and cheese burger.
They didn’t have Parcha available for the juice, but maybe next time we can try it.

If you are de Puerto Rico. You have to try this place. The food, the service, everything was so freaking good. The place reminded me of somewhere que uno va de jangueo. I have tried multiple places with puerto rican food, and this one is the best by far. For the FIRST time I found mofongo relleno. That was sooo good. I am telling you, trust me and go to Coqui.

Very impressive place, is small place with enormous flavor, authentic puertorican food ,finely we have a authentic puertorican food in homestead Florida.first plate is Mofongo with shrimp with criolla souse we call camarones con salsa criolla with mofongo, mofongo is maid of plantain and chicharon (pork skin.) Very soft consistency is important in your plate. Here they always have that in mind .the other plate is mofongo with carrucho . Carrucho is (caracol )
This small place have the experience to prepare this delicious plate to perfection. Another plate we call Canoa ,fried plantain with seasoning ground beef on top and American cheese, last plate tostones ,white rice, habichuelas rozadas and bistec with onions this plate is 5 star to. Thay have desserts like Tembleque and flan of coffee. After so many years finely we don’t need to travel to enjoy a authentic food. We have a perfect place in South Florida.

The best part about the place is the people, great service. What I didn’t like is that one of the dishes had pernil that was hard as if it had been cooked 24hrs ago and left on a burner. I didn’t like that they served that.
About $15-16 per plate.
Location sucks! Only saw two parking spots, not very conducive to getting business.
