The great reviews have put this place on our list for a while now, and happily it lived up to the praise.

This is classic French bistro fare, made from quality ingredients and prepared with care. The menu is tight, but missing nothing.

Atmosphere is lively, and the decibel level manageable – though maybe not for a quiet intimate date. The wait staff was familiar, but not overbearing. We were thankfully spared the introductions when ordering, as well as the requisite inquiry into our plans for the rest of the evening, when settling. All to say, great service.

Loved the decore and lighting. It’s a great space with tables, high tops and a bar.

Our food was excellent and fairly priced. Escargot were amazing, as was the steak tartare. My only note would be to perhaps accompany it with a small side of finishing salt, for those who want to pull out a bit more of the beef flavour.
Our entres consisted of the bouillabaisse and steak frites. Both were really well executed.

When we decide to go out, this is what a restaurant should be. We’ll be back and think those that decide to come here will enjoy their experience!

This is my second time visiting the venue, taking my lady here for our anniversary and her first time visiting. It has been a fantastic night with delicious food and wonderful service, I almost had a dejavu that I was back in France from a trip long time ago.

All the dishes we had were great, the tartare de boeuf and bouillabaisse stood out the most. The creme brulee was torched right before us, so it was the classic “dinner and a show”, we both really liked. My lady was especially impressed with the way for dessert selection.

The hospitality provided throughout the night was simply excellent. We were looked after, cared for, well paced… it felt so comfortable in the warm atmosphere, forgetting about time, and able to just enjoy the evening.

Would highly recommend a visit, whether it be brunch or dinner. C’est magnifique!

Wow. This place!
Loved the whole experience.
The bouillabaisse was memorable… done in a classic way but elevated. (And also, much better than Chamber’s version)
The escargot appetizer was also perfection.
The dine out Vancouver menu looked great but we opted to order off the menu but will def be going back for that.
Service was friendly and super attentive without being too much.
I think this is our new favorite restaurant!

Went here for dine out on a Friday night, party of 3. The ambience was great, the staff were attentive but the food took awhile to come out between courses. The staff were great though and provided a complimentary drink for how busy the kitchen was which was understandable as the restaurant was very busy. Great place for date night and the food itself was delicious.

The food was tasty, but the portions were quite small — barely enough to feel full. What was more disappointing is that I only found out about the daily specials after finishing my meal, when I overheard the server mentioning it to another table. It would have been a much better experience if the specials had been introduced at the beginning

Best foie gras I have ever ate in Vancouver! Actually, the best I ate in all north America!
Im from France, and this restaurant has real tastes of France. The duck salad and les oeufs meurette were delicious! The waiters speaking french definitly gave an additional « french touch » to the restaurant. I will come back!

Solid 4.5/5

Really high quality service, atmosphere is great.

The only negative point I would make is the quality of their steak is not worth the price. The flavour and the way their cook it is perfect, but the quality of the cut could be better.

I really enjoyed the food here — everything tasted fresh and delicious! My only small complaints are that the portions could be a bit bigger and the prices felt a little high for what you get. I wish it was just a bit more affordable, especially if you’re planning to get a full meal. But honestly, despite that, the overall experience was great. The vibe was nice, the service was friendly, and the food definitely hit the spot. I’d come back again for sure, just hoping maybe next time the portions are a bit more generous!

I love French food, and Coquette has some of the best French food here in Vancouver!

First off, the spot is gorgeous and I love the interior decor and the patio that they have. We sat inside in the booth because it was so pretty!

We all opted for the tasting menu which is only $70 per person, and such a great deal compared to other restaurants. You get so many different dishes to try and we were so full by the time dessert came out. I liked how the dishes were a mix of meat and seafood. My favorite definitely had to be the chicken supreme because it was so creamy and decadent. I’ve been thinking of it nonstop since!

Our server was super kind and attentive. She refilled our bread multiple times when she saw it was almost done and also made sure our waters were always topped up. She knew we were there for a birthday so she also put a candle in one of the desserts for us!

It was also cool having the chef leave the kitchen to ask us how our dinner went. That is top notch service!

I will definitely come back here again!

We love this brasserie and dine there regularly for both lunch/brunch and dinner. The service and food are always amazing. They make one of the best burgers in town and their French onion soup is to die for!! They change their menu seasonally but, maintain the classic/faves through the year. They have a fantastic dog friendly patio for the summer months.
