Trendy, chandelier-hung place serving locally sourced New American fare alongside craft cocktails.

Very nice restaurant, nicely decorated and tasty food! Service was timely and everyone was very friendly. Pompano and apple tartine were both amazing. The tartare was a bit underseasoned and the buns of the shrimp puffs were a little dry, but the shrimp themselves were great. The schnitzel was also thicker than I would expect, but delicious all the same, so I’d give 4* for the food but 5* for the overall experience.

Wow, phenomenal meal! From the inviting atmosphere nestled in the heart of the Garden district to the superb and attentive service to the best part- unbelievable food with a modern twist on American cuisine, Coquette was a great experience. Cocktails were on point and each dish offered a unique flavor. I never had yellowtail carpaccio, but it was delicious. And I never knew I needed an heirloom cucumber salad, but the added tuna provided a necessary, salty balance. The steak was cooked to perfection, medium rare, and the chocolate cake was divine. If you’re looking for a fancy and upscale restaurant regarding district, this is a must.

Love this spot! Fantastic food, service and wine selection. Perfect recommendations from the “wine guy” and each dish was so well thought through.
So glad we added this to our weekend itinerary in New Orleans, Deffinitely a highlight.
Would highly recommend and will visit again next time in town.

Started off really good with the roasted pumpkin soup with crab- great flavor, a little spicy, would have been a 5 if it came out hot not like warm. We had the bread (barely warm) with their beef marmalade – average. Entrees were disappointing- the braised short ribs were past caramelized to burnt and the meat was bland and dry besides a couple of olives the minuscule sides were indistinguishable and the green sauce was tasteless. We had the Pompano was equally as bland and no sides. Both meals were luke warm. Expected much more.

The crab puffs–a small amount of unremarkable crab salad on top of a cold flavorless piece of fried dough. They should be embarrassed to call this a signature dish. Do not order. Other than that the meal was really excellent, with the pumpkin bisque and the ricotta dumplings being real standouts for creativity and execution. The cocktails were also very well done, with the Autumn Eternal a particular highlight. Overall we would return. But say no to the crab puffs.

We went on a Thursday night, and we had just a great time. The food and drinks are inventive without being pretentious. We’re still arguing over whether the peaches and coppa could have been better balanced, but I loved it regardless. The potato-crusted flounder was the best dish we had that whole weekend, when we also ate at GW Fins. The chef even stopped by to ask how we liked the food. What’s there to complain about?

This restaurant lives up to the hype. It’s worth making a reservation and spending an evening here trying different dishes. The bread with fresh butter is a great start. The peach & coppa is an explosion of flavors. The smoky peppers give it a real kick and the sweet peaches and prosciutto balance well. The blue crab gnocchi is delicious. The smoked short ribs are perfectly cooked. We finished with pannacotta and peaches. We loved everything we ordered!

This was a cozy restaurant with good food and inventive cocktails. The food was good, but felt like it was missing that ‘something’ to bump it to great. The signature cocktails were definitely new and used combos you don’t see elsewhere. The service was okay. The server was nice, but they seemed understaffed for a Friday night. We ended up waiting 20 minutes for dessert to come after ordering. Given the competition in NOLA, there are other places that hit all the boxes.

In all my years eating all over the world with food cooked at coffee shops to food cooked by master world renowned chefs, this is the best dinner I have ever had. Presentation, portion size, and the expert blending of flavors is absolutely amazing. The wait staff do their job superbly.
Absolutely first class in all ways. Definitely going back when I pass through New Orleans.

Fabulous experience at Coquette last night! We tried a bunch of dishes and overall enjoyed them a lot. Highlights included: smoke trout roe atop an onion dip with homemade chips, shrimp chitarra pasta (spicy), and the red snapper. The cocktails we tried were also EXCELLENT. Only notes we had were that the apple salad begged for some lettuce for bulk and mouth feel, and the sweet potato pie dessert lacked a crunch to the crust. Would definitely recommend and go back.
