Copycat Co. had been on my list forever, and I finally got around to going. The cocktails? Amazing. The bartenders really know their stuff. I told one I liked a drink on the menu but couldn’t do pineapple, and he said, “Tell me what you’re into,” and made something custom on the spot. Perfect. I also had the Gong Bao Chicken, it was really good and spicy. Overall, I’m definitely coming back. It’s a great spot whether you’re on a date or just out for top tier craft cocktails.

Great vibes, good drinks, and a good music playlist. Loved the variety of tables and bar seating.

Started with some beef noodles and dan dan noodles. Beef noodles were good. The dan dan were not as good as others I’ve had in the past.
Also tried the chili wontons and triple delight potstickers. Both were great in their own way.

Also tried a few drinks including Shark’s Tooth, Tropical Itch, Sunakora, and the Tahitian Rum Punch. All solid tiki drinks!

The vibe and drinks at Copycat Co. are worth your money.

I usually have the Chimi-Churri. It’s juicy.

Their cocktails are Top 5 in DC.

Don’t go while they’re too busy, service struggles.

Damn I love this place. The drinks are amazing and the food is just as good. It’s billed as a cocktail bar but don’t sleep on the snacks. The pan fried dumplings, spicy beef noodles, and the lamb noodles all to die for. The bartenders were very nice and offered recommendations even sold me on another round of noodles after the first one was so good. Can’t wait to stop here again next time I’m in D.C.

The chili wontons were packed with flavor, and the chicken skewers were juicy and well-seasoned. The highlight of the meal was definitely the green chili chicken — the combination of peppers and scallions gave it an extra kick that made it stand out. I gave 3 stars for atmosphere only because it was very busy and we had to sit outside on the patio, which was uncomfortably hot. That said, the food more than made up for it!

An incredible bar. A rotating selection of menus all well curated and full of tasty options. The food is delicious, well-spiced, with good portions – a welcome change from the normal bar fair of appetizers or overpriced small plates. The staff are great to work from the menu or offer selections to your tastes.

Its been awhile since i have been out to a bar late at night because i have kids and a dadbod. That being said, this bar is amazing! Bartenders know their drinks and are a master of their craft. Small place but full of energy and great staff especially who were working tonight 8/8/2025. Highly recommend. Dont take my word or review. Go there yourself and find out. You wont be disappointed!!

You’re paying for good vibes, delicious food, but small portions. We got the dan dan noodles and spicy wonton soup. Both were phenomenal and the Dan Dan was probably the best I ever had. That being said it was pretty pricey and the portion we got was pretty small. The dan dan noodles were $16 (2025) and came in an appetizer bowl. All of the cocktails are $18 regardless of whether you are getting an Old Fashioned or something more extravegant.

Ordered the Lazi chicken to-go.
It’s my favorite dish on the menu.
I get it often but normally dine in.
Tonight’s order was “skimp”. Even the bag felt light. I don’t think I’ve ever been given a reason to complain about copycat up until now.
I’m accustomed to having leftovers to eat at least 2 more times. Which is why I ordered a second side of rice. Because 1 side is never enough for the amount of chicken they give you. But tonight’s order did not meet my usual expectations. Disappointed because this is my splurge meal
& idk if my dissatisfaction has made me feel like whoever made this didn’t put any love in it tonight, but it’s also not braised how it normally is. The chicken is usually a bit darker in color. It’s quite pale compared to past experiences.

Great space. Intimate but high energy. Great team behind the bar service and cocktails-wise. Thanks Joe for taking care of me and sending me on some future adventures.

And clearly a great team in the kitchen. They’ve got an extensive menu – you could come here for (late night) snacks, or easily a full meal alone or with friends. The dishes weren’t too big to handle solo so didn’t have fomo except for wanting to try all the things. Chili wontons and double cooked pork were intensely satisfying.

Tiki style cocktail menu, but with plenty of diverse options and a great looking classic cocktail list. Given the ones I had, I’d trust them on the rest. A few good options for vegetarians or vegans (modifications possible).
