This place has the best martinis I’ve ever had in my life!! It felt like a very welcoming environment with several people hanging out, watching a sports game.
The bartender was super friendly and gave great recommendations based on my tastes. You can tell the drinks were made with care. The Georgia peach martini was a 100 out of 10. Seriously so good!!! The chocolate martini was also extremely delicious.
I only wish they had food or snacks, because I like to have something to munch on when I’m drinking. But I’ll definitely be back soon!!

The owner Reggie got us right he took it upon himself to make drinks before the bartender came in he was a great host to us and the drinks were amazing he did his thing please come check out copper still for live music drinks and great food. It’s a whole vibe here I love it….

Met someone here for an evening cocktail and had no idea that there was a black owned speakeasy so close. The drinks were lovely although I didn’t try any food. The music was lovely, from upstairs, I personally prefer a small to empty crowd so I opted to stay upstairs. I’m looking forward to going back again soon. Really laid back, adult space.

Overall, I liked the drinks. I went on a day when they had a special on lemon drops, and enjoyed them. I also liked the karaoke party they were having downstairs. However, what I did not enjoy was going home and seeing an extra $20 tip that was added to my bill.
I called them multiple times to understand how this happened and if I could get a refund. It took about 3-4 days to resolve this. I got the run around and excuses like, “Oh, the manager is not here, please call at X time”. I would call at that time and be told I ” just missed him” and asked if I could “call back again when they open the next day”. Again, this went on for 3-4 days, and I was the one who had to call them. Even when I left my name and number with them, which they asked me for to call me back, I had to be the one to follow up.
Eventually, the woman on the phone told me to just come up there. I was offered my $20 cash back from her, and a free drink from someone who I am assuming is the manager I just “kept missing”. Either way, even if that was not the manager, the two staff members sitting there did not offer me any apology. If anything, the girl who issued my refund seemed annoyed.
Needless to say, I will never go back. If you do go here, I highly suggest paying in exact cash. Based on another review I saw, it seems like my experience was not unique.

So my experience wasn’t too great. I am a 62-year-old retired female that goes out for cocktails once a year if that……. I grew up in Homewood and for a couple years or more I’ve been saying when I go have a cocktail it’s going to be at that new bar on the corner called copper still. I absolutely love martinis. I loved the ambiance and even the people surrounding me were so nice. Right off the bat the bouncer found me a seat at the bar and he was quite the gentleman. Well here comes the bad part I literally sat at the bar for up to 40 minutes before I had a Martini in front of me I bartended for 13 years that is completely and totally unacceptable! I normally would walk out but I was dying to try one of their wonderful martinis and here comes the icing on the cake……… I had cash on me because I was at the Homewood fest so I put $29 in front of me when the girl took my money she took the whole $29 and it took a while for her to get back to me but when she did she said thank you and no money came back on the bar in front of me so I asked her….. How much was the martini?!? She said it was $18. So basically the bartender took it upon herself to take the $18 cash for the drink and keep the other $11 for a tip. I was dumbfounded and I was not about to cause an altercation but needless to say I left there without saying goodbye and I will never return

I had a very disappointing experience during my recent visit. The bartender working that night—a Black woman with clear glasses and orange locs braided back—provided extremely poor service. The drinks she made for me and my friends appeared to contain little to no alcohol ( i really don’t think there was any in there), despite the fact that we are all of legal age and were properly carded.
Service was extremely slow throughout the night, and toward the end of the evening, she began making loud and inappropriate remarks about our group while we were still present, including statements such as, “Why are they even here?” Although she did not come over to take our orders, she was quick to remove our cups in a way that made us feel rushed and unwelcome, as if we were being pushed out.
This behavior was highly unprofessional and unsettling, especially considering the significant amount of money we spent. Because of this experience, we no longer felt welcome and will not be returning. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the conduct of this staff member.
