My husband and I recently went to Copper Rock without a reservation. They offered seats at the bar. We gladly took them and are so happy we did.
Aaron & Joel took great care of us. Friendly and prompt with their service.
We started with cocktails. My husband loved his Italian Manhattan. My Heat of the Night was just ok… should have done the Lemon Drop!!!
Their bread service and spreads were spectacular.
My husband had their Lobster Bisque and Crab Cakes (from appetizer menu) and was able to save enough room for their bread pudding which he said was the fluffiest and largest helping he has ever had. I had the delicious Prime Rib. My usual dessert is an Espresso Martini and it did not disappoint.
Live piano music was very enjoyable and provided a nice backdrop.
The 1 bite chocolate Beinet (sp?) was delicious…. don’t turn it down!!!!
Thank you for a wonderful birthday/Valentine’s dinner.
The gentlemen next to us was there by himself. That’s nice to know for single travelers.

Come here once in while for several years. I like that they change some dishes on the menu. Last time I were there found a new appetizer, Bone Narrow. Love it! I like try new food and here they never disappoint!

I wanted to share my opinion on the place. I ate here one night out of the week I stayed in the hotel. I got the 26oz bone in ribeye 45 day dry aged. This thing was not that great for 95$! In context I raise my own beef and expect a 95$ steak to be great. I ordered med rare and all but the very center was rare rest was over done zero flavor. Now the lobster Mac and cheese was absolutely perfect and taste great. If you coming here for dinner I would go and check out the other restaurant in the casino. I had dinner there 3 days and ever meal was absolutely perfect I would recommend the wagu surf and turf. Beside the bad steak very nice place to stay.

I will tell you I had probably one of the best steaks I have had at a casino, but the waitress that waited on me was really really not about checking on me or anything. All she cared about was the group of guys down the bar like she was really condensing I felt more like a nusciance rather than a customer it was crazy. The guys were literally making fun of me acting like I was taking their pictures bc my phone flashes they were really rude too and the waitress just laughed with them. I mean really ruined the entire experience. I would go back if she weren’t working.

The vibe was great. It took 1.5hr for the food to come out. The couple I came in with received their food 20 mins before me & by the time I received mine the couple was gone. Then my food came out cold. No butter on my potatoes, the waiter didn’t ask if I wanted steak sauce or seasoning. This was a very bad experience & it ruined vibe of the night. They’re were four waiters in the same area & they all seemed busy & none consistent. I will never come here again.

This is a fantastic venue inside Four Winds Casino. Once you’re inside the restaurant, you don’t even know that you’re at a casino (no noise pollution at all). There is another restaurant on site as well, themed differently but also quite good.
The walls are lined with wonderful pictures of the Pokagon Band People, and also a few older photos from South Bend. It provides a nice reminder of the continuity of the Native people in the region, as well as of the new immigrants (the included photo in this review shows Belgian and Italian marchers in a parade roughly a century ago).
I’ve had excellent food here on other visits, but most recently (with a group of 8), the steaks came out cold. Possibly because there was a timing error between our courses, the service was outstanding. That said, the service was exceptional. The appetizers (a seafood tower and a bacon appetizer) were fantastic and plentiful! The salads were excellent, and the drinks were spot-on. It’s easy to believe that on most visits, this is South Bend’s very best restaurant.
While this particular visit was not exactly what I hoped for, this is a fantastic option in our region.

i just tried this place for the first time with my boyfriend. before coming i looked at the menu and wasn’t sure if i’d like anything, but boy was i wrong! i’m so glad i gave this place a chance! i ordered the french onion soup, the new york strip steak, and had a side of mashed potatoes. everything was delicious! i also enjoyed the assorted breads and spreads that came with it, i couldn’t stop eating it! all of the food came out fresh and hot and tasted amazing. the steak was huge, tender, and juicy. the mashed potatoes were super smooth and buttery. we also got complimentary dessert which was a chocolate lava cake type of dessert which tasted so good! the chocolate was very rich and delicious!
the service was also amazing as well. our servers were george and layne, and they were both very attentive and helpful since it was our first time there. they did an amazing job at explaining everything to us and even told us about the different types of wines and how they taste different in the bottle vs. in a decanter, it was actually pretty interesting! layne was quite knowledgeable about wines and he was funny. both servers were great.
the atmosphere is really nice and quiet and the bathrooms are super fancy as well.
overall an amazing place and experience and i’m so glad i gave this place a try. we will be back!

This was a wonderful fine dining experience. Layne was our server and had great recommendations on drinks and food. He was also very entertaining throughout dinner. We enjoyed our service, food, and experience with Layne. The surf and turf was beyond delicious, and the chocolate old fashion was something I will be thinking about for months to come. Also, we loved that we did not hear any noise from the casino. Truly a 10/10 dining experience.

We went to Copper Rock to celebrate my birthday with my wife and friends. The shrimp was tasty, Barata salad was phenomenal, and the steak was delicious. One of the reasons we went was because they had a live piano player which added to the ambience of the evening. We enjoyed the evening and glad we went.

The service and wait staff were great and friendly. The oysters Rockefeller and bone marrow were good along with the cocktail selection. We also got the specialty meal on Sunday night, unfortunately our fillet mignons and baked potato’s were cold, so much so that the butter didn’t melt and we took them as leftovers to heat up at home. The asparagus on our plates were hot though. The onion soup we highly recommend as well as their crème brûlée dessert. It was date night and it aligned with our cheat day lol. Hopefully the steaks are hot the next time we go.
