My dad and I started going to Copper River about a month and a half ago. Loved everything about the place. So, we go there every Monday. We ask for Christina or Chyann they are wonderful waitresses. Real friendly, and willing to help you. I am surprised to see some bad reviews. Because, I have not experienced anything that they commented on. Great atmosphere, clean, and great tasting food at a great price. The portions are so big, that you can make two meals out of them. Everything is made fresh, and the salad is so fresh that the lettuce is crispy, and not soggy like other restaurants I’ve been too. They have a delicious honey butter croissant . Yummy

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Customer Service

Such a wonderful first visit! The hostess was so sweet and welcoming, and our server Erica truly made the night special. She went the extra mile to make sure my daughter’s shellfish allergy was taken seriously and that her food was prepared safely with no worries of cross-contamination. That kind of care means everything to a parent.

Erica’s warm smile, patience, and genuine kindness stood out the entire time. While the food temperature wasn’t exactly to my preference, I deeply appreciate the cooks for handling my daughter’s meal with care and compassion. We will absolutely be back — Erica alone is worth the return!

Nice interior & super warm and friendly service (woman working the bar served us). Food is flat out weak or terrible. $14 for bacon cheese fries – it’s a generous portion but thrown together with no regard for taste. Fries were ALL flabby, topped with bacon bits that are the shelf stable at room temp type bacon splashed with melted cheese type whiz. The sprinkling of fresh green onion is nice at least with a decent tasting ranch on the side but it’s flat out terrible (for $14!). Also ordered the she-crab soup. Had a slightly off flavor (canned crab and/or canned soup base); no perceivable sherry swirl added (we asked for it to be removed from our tab). Ordered a sierra nevada from tap (probs the pale ale) – it’s old and on its first phase of being infected (sour and funky notes to it). An absolute waste of money. I’m giving two stars because the service was outstanding.

On Monday, February 23rd, my parents and I had decided to try The Copper River for lunch for my mom’s birthday. None of us had ever been there before. It was not the best experience for us. The waitress (not sure of her name since she never introduced herself when she arrived at our table) was not very attentive to us after delivering our food. After about 20 minutes, she came back to our table to ask if we needed anything. I asked for some steak sauce again (the first time she brought the wrong kind) and some sour cream and she started walking away and I then asked for another margarita. She then turned around and said in an annoyed voice “Anything Else?!”
Our food was another matter. My mom’s grilled chicken fingers appeared to be over cooked, my dad’s burger was too greasy that he couldn’t eat it by hand then ended up eating it with a fork and knife, and my sirloin steak was lukewarm and my baked potato was a leftover from the day before, dry and cold enough that the cheese didn’t melt. My first margarita was actually good, the second one not so much as it tasted like it had been sitting at the bar for awhile, watered down and had no lime added. Between my dad and I, we didn’t want to say anything bad and make my mom feel bad about her birthday. My dad just said, “Because it’s Monday, the food isn’t good because there is not enough business for them”. Regardless if it’s a Monday or a Saturday, the food and the service should be good and acceptable to everyone.
Overall, it was a very disappointing experience for us. The more frustrating part is that our bill was over $70 plus a 25% tip for the waitress. Since my dad paid the bill, I did not have a say in the waitress’s tip, or she would have gotten a lot less than what she did receive.
I, myself have worked in the restaurant industry for over 16 years and to see how restaurants have changed to not care about their customers is disappointing to say the least.

I went here with family before my wedding and it’s beautiful. The food is great and so was the staff. They were super friendly and helpful like when we took our order the young lady took everyone one by one. 16 people at the table and all the food came out on time. And! It was hot.

We recently visited Copper River Grill in Seneca, SC with my family. My husband and I had a great experience there previously, so we were excited to return—but this visit was disappointing.

The restaurant is beautiful and clean, with a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the burger I ordered was undercooked, even though I asked for it well done and showed a photo from our last visit as a reference. It was sent back and came out again—same burger, but this time burnt. There’s a way to cook a burger well done without it being raw or charred.

A cook came by, seemed to notice I wasn’t happy, but didn’t say anything. The waitress asked at the end of the meal, and I mentioned the issue, but the manager never addressed it and the burger stayed on the bill. For a place we once really liked, this was a letdown. Sadly, we won’t be stopping here again.

It was a decent experience. We ate here for lunch on Mother’s Day with no wait. Had a party of 9 and they have a minimum of 7 at tables so we were separated. Something to keep in mind when coming with large parties.

I ordered the Copper River Burger and it was great and a large portion of food for the price.

Came in a Saturday afternoon. I have gluten allergies and out waiter AJ was amazing. He asked the kitchen about ingredients. I ordered the Salmon, sweet tater, wnd salad….He made sure I was able eat and dine peacefully and safely. I highly recommend this spot for ALL. Even brought out the sweet tater condiments separately to ensure my allergy needs. The music choice was great too. I highly recommend this spot.

We went to Copper River Grill for the first time in a couple years. We have not came because our experience prior was less than fair. We decided to give it a try, hopeful that the food and customer service has improved. Our waitress, Miss Rachel was so attentive and kind. She consistently checked on us even though she had other guests to tend to. We observed other guests very pleased with her friendliness and attentiveness as well. She was professional and responsive. We were well taken care of. Out food came out hot. I had the prime rib which was perfectly cooked-compliments to the chef! We were very pleased with every bit of our experience and were thankful for such a nice dinner out.

Update, we went again for my birthday at the end of February and I got a steak. It was cooked perfectly. We had a waitress named Kamryn and she was amazing! She was sweet, attentive, and did a fantastic job.

Thanks!!

Food is usually pretty good, but it always feels like I paid for a lot more than I got. I often leave and want something else to eat within an hour.
The chicken nachos are really good, but really expensive too.
At this point, I only eat here when someone else picks it.
