I’ve gone a good couple times with my family, it’s now our favorite breakfast spot! The service is amazing and staff is super friendly. My mom loves the omelets, the food always tastes amazing. Great pricing as well! Everyone should give this place a try! You’ll want to keep coming back 🙂

☕ Copper Kitchen absolutely delivers the breakfast dream!
Walked in grumpy, walked out grinning like a kid at a pancake parade. The staff? So cheery they could power the Milwaukee sun . The vibe? Peaceful—but with just enough sizzle from the crowd to make you feel alive!
Now, let’s talk about the Copper Kitchen Skillet — loaded with all the meats, melty cheese, veggies struttin’ their colors, and golden fried potatoes on the side that deserve their own fan club. Every bite was like a brunch mic drop .
If happiness had a flavor, it’s this skillet. I might just move in and pay rent in bacon strips.

Very comfortable and friendly atmosphere at this sweet little neighborhood diner. Waitstaff is engaging and kind. Very attentive. Food was very reasonably priced and cooked to perfection. Definitely will be back soon.

I don’t usually write a review but I felt compelled after our much less than stellar breakfast experience today at Copper Kitchen. First let me say the wait for our breakfasts to arrive after ordering was unusually long despite there being almost no one else in the restaurant. My breakfast was okay (one over easy egg was slightly over cooked with a hard yolk on the edges) however my daughter’s omelette was completely overcooked. The one nice waitress who was not waiting on our table offered to have the omelette remade. She brought the new, remade omelette out and again it was overcooked. Maybe the cook was new or having a bad day because there are pictures of the southwest/chorizo omelette online where the eggs are actually yellow and not brown resembling some bad rubber egg notion purchased at Spencer’s gifts. The waitress who waited on our table (not the nice waitress) tried to argue with us that due to the chorizo being in the omelette the color of the eggs are supposed to be brown. I myself cook eggs quite often & know the difference between a fluffy omelette cooked perfectly and overcooked eggs with a brown overall color and a thickened, hard texture. I could’ve just dismissed the overcooked omelettes as a bad day for the cook if the (not so nice) waitress had not tried to argue with us about the overcooked state of eggs as well as the brown color of the eggs supposedly being normal then going to the back of the restaurant and complaining about us loud enough for my daughter and I to hear. Then to add insult to injury when I went to pay our bill at the front counter the owner was arguing about the overcooked eggs again stating the color of the eggs were supposed to be brown due to the chorizo. Really? How about just admitting the eggs were overcooked twice for whatever reason, apologizing for the issue, and not arguing about the fact they were overcooked or the waitress talking loud enough for us to hear her complaining and stating since she’s of a certain ethnicity she knows chorizo and then I wouldn’t even be writing this negative review if Copper Kitchen. Honestly after leaving the airport we should’ve just stopped at The Denny’s nearby for a better breakfast experience.

We have driven past this place for years and never stopped in; now I wonder why!
It’s a typical Milwaukee family style resto — used to be tons of them but times change and they are getting harder to find.
For a first visit here’s our take:
Atmosphere: very friendly
Pace: leisurely but not slow.
Food arrived hot
Tasty with ample portion size
Not overly busy on this visit, mid morning.
Limited menu but everything I wanted was on it so no big deal.
It’s a good choice for a leisurely meal.
I bet we’ll be back!!!!!

Had a delayed flight and wanted breakfast so we found Copper Kitchen 5 minutes from the airport!
They make a mean French toast with eggs, pancakes with eggs and omlette with delicious fresh vegetables!
Good service and food was done quickly.
It’s an older building with not the best booth seating, but again, its an older Milwaukee building, but we were there for the food which was great.

I wish I had gone sooner. Delicious food with great breakfast specials. Seems like a family operation which is nice to see. Servers were great. I’ll be bringing my kids next time.

We are new to MKE and were looking for a typical greasy spoon diner and found it here at Copper Kitchen. Food, service, price all very good. Exact kind of homey, authentic diner vibe we were looking for. Plus parking was super easy with their lot right off Howell. Will be back for sure!

The food was pretty good and the price was fair. Though the wait time was a bit long, it wasn’t too bad. Will definitely visit again.
