Swung into town for the weekend, to do some gambling and hiking in the area. We love a good sandwich shop and luckily for us this is one of the best we have ever been too. both of our sandwiches were delicious, the service was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. WE WILL BE BACK, the tomato sandwich is calling my name.

I do really love this place. I really love Rubens and this is the only place I will order one. So after craving one for the last 2 weeks I placed an online order and stop by on my way home to pick it up. I opened it up to eat it about 30 minutes after I got home and thought it was awfully weird that my Ruben did not have the rye bread that it usually does. I also noticed that it seemed awfully light on meat. I took a bite and realized that this was not a Reuben. After looking a little more closely, I realized it was a roast beef with cheese. A bland one at that. I do not recommend whatever that sandwich was, however I do recommend getting the Reuben. Check my ticket, it says Reuben on it and theyeven remembered to give me my extra thousand island dressing on the side that I asked for. And the paper that my sandwich was wrapped in even had an “r” on it, which I assumed was for Reuben. I called to let them know about the mistake and they did offer to replace it but with my game on, I definitely don’t want to leave. So they offered to give me a refund to make it right, which I definitely appreciate. But I’m still left wanting the Reuben that I’ve been craving for 2 weeks

My wife and u arrived here at about 12:25 on 1-18-2026. A lot of business for a small place which is clearly and indication of its popularity.

My wife ordered the Big Beefy Cheese on cibata bread. As the menu states, thin sliced beef that is incredibly juicy with gooey melted cheese. Was a perfect size for her. She loved every single bite commenting on how such simple ingredients were elevated to make such a great sandwich. She loved it!

I had the Oyler Club with potato salad. My wife was shocked I ordered potato salad. I said they are known for it so I was giving them a shot. Very creamy, mustard forward dressing. It was sooo good. She had a bite and agreed. Generally, potato salad anywhere is disappointing. THIS potato salad was delicious. The Oyler Club was well almost intimidating. All I can say is that you better be hungry. A huge sandwich. All the ingredients work so well together. I LOVED it. Told my wife it needed to be named “The Jaw Breaker”. The sandwich is piled high with a ton of meat and all the other ingredients. Outstanding sandwich.

If you are ever in Wetumpka, AL, stopping at the Copper House Deli is a MUST. You will not be disappointed.

The cashier was courteous, professional, and very helpful throughout my visit. I had the opportunity to try several menu items, including the Close Talker, Big Beefy Cheese, and the Copper Cobb Salad, all of which were well prepared and enjoyable. The Close Talker, in particular, stood out due to its well balanced combination of ingredients. I’ll definitely be going back to try some more menu items.

My son and I visited after passing by numerous times, and we are hooked! The brisket grilled cheese and BYO hoagie is our go to! They’re both flavorful and always made fresh with love.

I ordered, and enjoyed, a Copper House cheesesteak sandwich. It was served hot and fresh on a toasted bun. The deli had some delicious looking desserts, but I didn’t try any of those.

Been being greeted soon as we walked in the door. It felt so family like. Everybody was super nice. Super friendly. We end up buying some pickles and two magnets and then while we’re there. Went ahead and bought one of the share. The meals for somebody who needed a meal on their wall. Love the place. Food was awesome. The sandwiches were just phenomenal. In a nutshell, just an awesome place. Definitely would go back and definitely recommend

Decent food, but prices are high. The soda machine was absorbed nasty. Both mountain dew dispensers produced black chunks on my soda and one of them was a dark yellow color, like the syrup was very very old. Please properly clean and maintain your equipment!

Food is great, let’s give credit where credit is due. And from what I can see they give back to the communities as well which is awesome.
But 40 min wait for 2 sandwiches? No thanks. We came in on a Friday afternoon, placed the order at 1:47pm, I know this for a fact cause I was texting a friend at that time. We didn’t get our sandwich until 2:27. The shop wasn’t busy at least not the dine in.
I agree with other reviewers, the kitchen is extremely unorganized. I manage restaurants myself and there’s no reason for 2 sandwiches to take that long. The funny part is, people who came in in the next 20 mins after we ordered, got their food the same time we did, so there’s something definitely wrong with how the kitchen is operated.
The one girl and one boy in the kitchen look frazzled most the time and there’s just no flow.
I love local joints and will choose to support them over chains, but this place needs a game plan for their kitchen.

Good spot for a nice hearty lunch.
We had the Close Talker and Big Beefy Cheese sandwiches. Both were great and made to order (got the Close Talker without horseradish).
Nice little spot to sit and eat inside, and plenty on the menu that I still want to try.
