Besides the litteral crazy person with a hospital band on, grunting & screaming, it was a great place for breakfast. Hands down, the BEST chicken fried steak, just like the sign said! Lightly breaded, seasoned, and the portion was huge! Played a few keno games before eating. It was nice, just wasn’t any theme to the place.

We stopped in at this place for breakfast on 7/19/21. The prices are reasonable and the menu had something for everyone. I loved the decor and the hometown diner feel. Once we put our order in, we heard another gentleman complain to the waitress that he had been waiting an hour for his food. The waitress kindly told him “there is only one cook making all the food for everyone.”. We ended up waiting 40 minutes for the food to arrive which was hard when you have two hungry and bored kids. Being short staffed is never fun and I understand that isn’t the fault of the owner. My suggestion would be to put a sign at the entrance letting people know of the long wait times before entering. Perhaps offer the customers the chance to order and come back in an hour since there are lots of neat shopping outlets nearby to keep them occupied while they wait. The food was excellent! We’d love to stop in again some day and hopefully the short staff crisis will be over.

They not only messed up my to-go order, but the food has become subpar…with California prices. I would not recommend eating here. They’ve completely gone downhill…such a disappointment! This is what a $13 dollar sandwich looks like. I used to love eating here, but you’d be better off getting a deli sandwich from Walmart.

Food was mediocre at best. Toast was cold when I got it, bacon was over cooked, eggs and hash brown were lovely but my chicken fried steak was hug but flavor wise horrible it tasted like it was fried in old grease. Slow staff waitress didn’t even bother to ask me if I wanted another drink I had to ask after 15 minutes of my drink being empty

We tried to eat there. They weren’t that busy, but there was 3 ladies walking around. They looked at us, but not one of them even acknowledged us. So we left. Not impressed with the customer service at all. They could have said, Hi we’ll be right with you. Or something. Anything.

For a place in Butte that brings you back to the day of Mining and has the best service, prices and gives you the relaxed home feeling. I will continue to go to this place. Chicken Fried Steak is my reccomendation.
