When you enter you will find reception, where you can ask for the table. If you are bigger group make sure you book in advance. Phoenix is big mall and its always crowded, so makw sure you book in advance for larger groups. For family or couple you can go directly and just you will have to wait 10 to 15mins max and you will get the table.
Now coming to food. The menu is npt something which has 1000s of things listed. The Menu is precise and its good as you dont get confused on what to order. I have ordered Butter Chicken, Paneer Kulcha, Missi Roti and Kuchumber Raita. With this they have also served difeerent type of pickle, chutney and salad. Total bill was 1341 INR, which is good if you want to enjoy good food and service.
The staff is polite and gentle. The menu has details of the dishes on what all it includes. I was a bit confused and asked one of the staff and he did help me on what combination will work and I must say it was helpful.
Overall great experince will visit again soon
The achari chicken tikka was really nice and flavourful. The butter naan and tandoori roti were good, but the rumali roti wasn’t great—it was very stretchy and required a lot of chewing. The paneer tikka butter masala was the highlight of the meal and tasted excellent. The tawa veg biryani was okayish.
Overall, the standout dishes for me were the butter naan, paneer tikka butter masala, and achari chicken tikka.
We were served by Uttham and Somnath, both of whom were courteous and attentive throughout. For food, we ordered the mutton biriyani and a chicken starter —something like a hariyali kebab. We were also recommended a pineapple-based mocktail, which turned out to be a highlight of the evening.
The biriyani was excellent. The meat was tender, well-cooked, and flavorful without being overpowering. It had the kind of balance you hope for but rarely get — aromatic rice, juicy mutton, and just the right amount of spice. I genuinely enjoyed it. The hariyali kebab dish, on the other hand, didn’t quite hit the mark for me. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t suit my palate.
What stood out was the service. Uttham came over and asked how the dishes were. When I mentioned that the starter wasn’t to my liking, he immediately offered to bring another starter of my choice — completely on the house. That gesture floored me. In most places, if you say something’s not great, the staff either ignore it or disappear. But here, the response was proactive, generous, and respectful. It’s rare to see that kind of hospitality, and it made a lasting impression.
The pineapple mocktail was sensational — refreshing, well-balanced, and a perfect complement to the biriyani. It’s something I’d recommend without hesitation. We wrapped up the meal with a rabdi dessert, which was rich, creamy, and satisfying. A solid finish to a memorable evening.
Between the festive atmosphere, the excellent biriyani, the standout mocktail, and the exceptional service — especially from Uttham — this visit to Copper Chimney was more than just a meal. It was an experience. And frankly, if restaurants want to justify a service charge, this is the kind of service that earns it. I don’t think I’ll be paying service charges elsewhere unless they match this level of care and hospitality.
The desserts were great , few of the starters like the chats were good . Didn’t really find much main course choices. But the ones that were there were nice.
Only thing – took a little while to arrive.
Overall a good experience!
Great outlet to enjoy a lavish lunch. I was hoping for the buffet, but I was told they serve that mod-fri only. Well, I guess that means I need to drop by in one of those days of the week.
A good staff and service by Uttam chinmay
(And he is an Odia guy, so if any Odia visitors are reading this, definitely ask for him!)
We had a great time at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. Each dish was flavorful and served fresh, making the overall dining experience very satisfying.
The ambience was warm and pleasant, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere — perfect for both family dining and casual outings.
The service truly stood out, especially thanks to Mr. Partha. He was extremely polite, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. His prompt service, friendly attitude, and genuine care for guests made our experience even more enjoyable. Special appreciation to him for going the extra mile and ensuring everything was perfect.
Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be visiting again!
