Food was fresh and tasty.
Huge selection of coffee, drinks, and teas.
Shop has a great selection of local & handmade treasures.
They day we went they did not have any sourdough available for sandwiches except plain. That was a little disappointing.
We felt menu was a little confusing.
Would still highly recommend for flavor, freshness & friendliness.
We saw the goats, but you could not pet or feed them.
The menu experience, however, was confusing. The menu is very busy and dense, listing many syrup options, breads, cheeses, and toppings, yet it does not list prices or clearly note add-on charges. I was surprised to see an extra charge for a very small amount of cream cheese after ordering, which would have been helpful to know upfront.
For the price point ($13.45 for the sandwich, plus add-ons), I was also surprised that no side was included — no chips, fruit, or potato salad — which is something most cafés offer with a sandwich at this cost.
The biggest concern was accessibility and flow. Parking is on very uneven gravel with no designated spaces. Inside, customers enter through the retail store and then must navigate narrow steps to reach the café. That same tight area is used for ordering, entering, and exiting. When I was there, people were trying to go up and down the steps at the same time, some carrying bags, which felt awkward and unsafe. Given that this is in a retirement community, the layout felt especially poorly suited for older patrons or anyone with mobility or balance concerns.
Overall, the food quality was good, but the lack of pricing transparency, added charges, no included side, and the congested layout made the experience less comfortable than expected. With clearer pricing and improved flow, this could be a much more welcoming stop.
It seems like it could be a nice place if pricing was more reasonable and Logistics and layout were less busy / confusing
Everyone is so sweet. Store and restaurant have an original style.
Also they have baby goats and miniature horses
I stopped in for a quick bite and ended up staying way longer than I planned because the atmosphere was so cozy and inviting. I had a scone and a chai tea—and I’m still dreaming about both! The chai was perfectly spiced and comforting, and the scone was warm, flaky, and delicious.
What really put it over the top? The goats! Absolutely adorable and such a sweet, fun touch that made the whole experience unforgettable.
You can tell there’s so much love and care put into everything here. From the homemade products to the warm hospitality, it’s a place you don’t want to miss. Can’t wait to come back!
Love looking at the goats play while we eat.
