The only reason I’m giving it a four is because the red chili was more like tomato sauce. Sorry guys but every other way. Oh my gosh the food was amazing! The egg for cooked perfect and all hash browns were perfect. Beans were good. You know not bad so I really got a nourishing breakfast and actually took some with me in a togo container. Yeah but if they could work on the red chili that would be super awesome. I would go back there.

We were in the area, saw this great looking cafe, and dropped by for breakfast. We enjoyed it so much, we returned the following day for more. We chose the more traditional breakfast offerings. The food was delicious, and the service was responsive even during a busy Sunday morning. (We had a really friendly waiter named Marco, if memory serves). We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.

Pleasant atmosphere and extremely nice servers and workers. But personally, just didn’t have much flavor in the food I ordered. The beef and chicken tacos didn’t have any wow factor and the rice was a bit undercooked/no flavor. I will say my friend that brought me there loves the place and goes there often to get breakfast/brunch items. I may have made the wrong choice choosing a lunch item. He really enjoyed and devoured his breakfast – carnitas skillet with the yummy red Chile sauce. I’d order that if I went back.

I came in for a skillet and was surely tempted by the early bird burrito special, but I ended up getting the biscuit and gravy and I couldn’t be happier. The biscuit and gravy was fairly standard with the plate brimming with gravy, but what really set it apart was the homemade sausage patty that made it look like a full-sized hamburger was missing its meat. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the meal was very filling for a good price.

My waitress Danielle was horrible ghetto rude and her fat was hanging out of her shirt and it made me sick. She acted like we were not welcome there. It was 30 mins before closing she seemed mad! Almost didn’t want to eat because of fear she spit in it or something. The food was good but the service was the worst! We won’t be back! Loved it here but service has gone down hill. Get nicer servers! Set higher standards on how they present themselves.

Hadn’t been to this place in a long long time. We were returning from some business up on the east side of town and decided to stop as we were both hungry. A little bit of a wait, I think they’re short on staff. The food was okay but I realized about halfway through that it wasn’t what I had ordered. I ordered enchiladas with carne adovada and was brought enchiladas with chicken. I am not a fan of chicken lol. Our server asked if we wanted to exchange it but at that point there was no use as I had already eaten about half the meal. The chicken wasn’t horrible if it had a lot of chili on it I just got to a point where there wasn’t as much chilly and I got the taste of chicken. Oh well worse things have happened I’m sure.

This is a go to spot for ABQ locals that work on base or at the VA hospital. Given the challenging location, they do a great job keeping this place well maintained and serving quality food. It’s got to be tough running a success restaurant in this area.

The food here would have been decent I think. But I got huevos rancheros door dashed to me yesterday morning around 10 a.m. and the egg was ordered over easy but was given to me basically raw. I made the mistake of trusting the cook and ate some of it ending up with food poisoning for the rest of the night. Watch out for this kitchen.

So my wife and I were trying to decide on what to eat. So I googled and found this spot. By looking at the menu pics online, it looked good and it was. I had the Navajo taco breakfast and as you can see from my pics I finished the whole thing. My wife had the Smothered papitas skillet with adobada meat and that was good also. When it comes to the word Cafe that’s exactly what this is with great customer service. Great Cafe food for a great price. Thanks guys will be back to try dinner.
