Great outdoor patio on the water with both sunny and shady spots to sit. Great wait staff. Proprietor came out to say hello and check how we were enjoying ourselves. I really enjoy their fish tacos and shrimp fajitas. The fish fry was a little disappointing. I ordered broiled rather than fried. Maybe fried is better? I’ve been three times and will look forward to going again.
Parking is a bit limited, but I have always found a spot.

My family and I walked in late on a Saturday night for dinner and the bar was packed with people having a great time. The bartender must have scene my concerned face standing there with my kids, and pointed me to the separate dining room where we could have dinner without the loud music. Great food and service, they have a good layout for family’s and Saturday night fun.

During a recent trip from Illinois, we found ourselves in search of a great lunch spot and Copper Bottom Bar & Grill popped up in our search – and what a fantastic find it was! The stunning patio pictures with a clear lake view immediately captured our attention, and we knew we had to experience it for ourselves.
The reality certainly lived up to the photos. Our lunch was absolutely delicious, exceeding all expectations. More than just great food, the service was impeccable – attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Dining on the patio with that beautiful lake backdrop was truly a highlight of our day. Copper Bottom Bar & Grill proved to be 100% a great choice and a wonderful little place that made our spontaneous stop unforgettable. I would honestly make the trip again just to enjoy another meal here!

We tried this place twice when it was first opened and was not impressed. We finally tried it again after a few years, and to our surprise, they figured it out. The fish fry was delicious. It was all you can eat, which is very rare these days. She had the baked and i had the beer battered cod.The salad had homemade blue cheese and creamy garlic dressing. The service was excellent, and the place had a welcoming atmosphere.

We enjoyed dinner with another couple. The chicken sandwich was good; a few tator tots but not many. They cooked them crispy as requested. The chicken stir fry, hamburger and steak sandwich were all reported as good from the family.
To be perfectly honest, we came on a Wed which turned out to be bingo night. Atmosphere wasn’t exactly perfect for a conversation.. Noted.

The atmosphere was nice however we were told to “seat yourselves anywhere you’d like”. All of the outdoor patio tables were all dirty and had either napkins or food remaining on the tables.
The view of the lake is very nice. If you’re looking for a casual atmosphere to enjoy a nice meal is the place.
The portion sizes on the food are very small. I actually wanted to order more food after getting my main entree but didn’t want to wait.
It took about 40 minutes to get our food and the waiter was gravitated to entertain a certain table the entire duration. I attempted several times to flag our waiter but she kept going back to the same table. Overall everything tastes good. The scenery or was very nice.
I’d come back again but would address the lack of attention to all other tables.

Drove from Chicago to Illinois just to see this place & have lunch. Atmosphere with the lake was beautiful, we chose not to sit outside it was a little too cool. Food was phenomenal. Drinks were good,& service phenomenal from Cat & April. Truly worth the ride.
