If you enjoy El Salvadorian and Mexican food, this is a great place to visit! The staff are friendly and helpful. The dining room is clean and spacious. They have a cool and colorful mural.

Obviously you want to hear about the food. This place appears to be mostly a take-out place that caters to delivery drivers, but also has a complete dining room. While I was intending to eat inside, they packaged up my food in delivery containers and bagged it up. This is probably because I ordered way more than a normal person could eat. (I missed breakfast and also wanted to try several flavors so I would know what to get next time.)

I skipped the Mexican options because I wanted to try the papusas and friend plantain. Let’s just say that they have some really good flavors. I’ve personally never been a huge fan of bean and cheese papusas, so that didn’t change…but man, their spinach and cheese ones were amazing! I also had potato and cheese, cheese, squash and cheese, and jalapeño and cheese. All of these were good. I do think they could have elevated the jalapeño by using fresh instead of pickled, but everyone has their preference.

I have a friend who is from El Salvador, so have had this type of food before. That being said, my Spanish is a bit weak and I have no idea the names of some of the items. The food came with little cups of salsa and larger bags of some sort of cabbage salad. They didn’t serve the items with sour cream or crumbly cheese…so don’t know if that’s a regional thing or I should have asked…or maybe because it was packaged for take-out? I also had their horchata. It is definitely different than Mexican horchata, but very similar and worth trying. The man at the counter asked about allergies and warned me it would be different. If you try it, just be aware it has sesame seeds and something like “moro nut”? It was good! Slightly more fruity and with crunchy bits.

My tab was a little high, but I ordered enough for two to four people. It was so good I overate for two meals! I had planned on taking photos of more of the food, but it smelled so good and I was so hungry, I tore into it before really capturing the experience!

I will say that I have certain expectations for a place to hit the Atmosphere marks. I like booths or similar comfortable seating. It is nice to relax while waiting for the food and eating. This place only has tables and chairs except a corner in the front where there are soft chairs and a coffee table. The place was decorated, but didn’t quite hit the level of decoration I’d expect. It looked sparse and commercial/utilitarian rather than welcoming and comfortable. While the food is great, it doesn’t seem like the type of place you’d take someone to impress them or go on a date at. I think this is partially a product of the type of clientele the restaurant has to cater to, just because of the location. There really isn’t much available parking and so delivery and take out are likely their best option most of the time.

Very clean. Nice music playing. Familiar sounds. Isabella and even Amaya. Friendly service and freshly made food. I enjoyed the fresh curtido and spicy salsa along with my hand made pupusa flight. Cebada was delicious and I can never turn down a properly ripe maduro, that’s just me.. They serve it with the sweet milk from the cow. Sweetened condensed Lechera. Would you believe there was a time you couldn’t get loroco? Well….well. I was very happy to find this place.

I have been buying food from the Copland family’s food truck for years so I was so happy for them when they opened up this restaurant.
The staff is always friendly and even feel like family as they remember my name from how often I have ate at their establishments. Their service is always quick and the food is consistently delicious and decently priced. You definitely get your moneys worth. The desayuno tipico is one of my favorites with how authentic it is, but you honestly cannot go wrong with any of their dishes.

I went with my family to celebrate my birthday, this was the first time we tried it but I am beyond impressed with the service, friendliness and quality of food. We tried the pupusas and my goodness, at first glance my eyes opened so wide as we saw how big they were lol the taste was so good that I couldn’t stop talking about them. We also tried for the first time boquitas and we all enjoyed them. The seasoning was perfect!

The pupusas are big and really filling. Don’t sleep on the burritos either, they are my favorite thing on the menu. If you are craving sweets they have a few delicious options too.
