We went for their 4 for $40 special promotion. For an appetizer to share, we selected the artichoke and spinach dip with bowtie pasta. We each picked our own entree. One was a spicy shrimp pasta dish and the other one was a blackened trio dish. We were offered a choice of items to pick from. And of course for dessert we had to pick their cheesecake. We enjoyed our meal and our waiter was very attentive.

All around great creole/cajun cuisine. This is a chain and we have dined at more than one location. The food is same quality food at all locations. I highly recommend the spicy herb chicken, crab claws, and red beans and rice!

It was super busy when we went, but we were able to get a table fairly soon. We received great service from our server. The food was ok. My favorite was the crab claws and the corn crab bisque. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. I thought the gumbo was a little bland. They didn’t have most of the dessert options available, so we weren’t able to get anything.

I probably got in about 35 min prior to close and nervous about the service because of it. My family was looking for anything open at this point since a lot closed at 8. Molly, our waitress, was dealing with a difficult table until she could get to us. But when she did, she brushed it off, and provided excellent service. I think pricing was fair in comparison to how much I would’ve spent in the French Quarter for the same food and quality. I got the crawfish Alfredo and my husband got the shrimp poboy, both super good.

These crab claws are the BEST crab claws anyone can buy. They taste like no other. Copeland’s never fails me.

First trip to NOLA and I’m glad I added this to the list. The food was good and the service was great. I didn’t get a chance to try the dessert. I was very full from the eggplant dish.

Never coming here again. The chicken and salad were okay. The cream spinach was disgusting. The service wasn’t that great. She tried to charge me for the spinach even though I didn’t eat it. Then I asked for the brownie dessert, it was missing the ice cream. Then she gave me the brownie to go even though I didn’t ask for it to go. Gave me my receipt before I even said I was done or ordered the dessert. So annoying.

We have been to Copelands many times as we always like to support local restaurants. In each of our experiences the food is decent but the service is extremely slow. this time we started out with ordering the biscuits which came in quick time. we then ordered the crawfish bisque to start with, the seafood platter and hamburger as well as side of sweet mashed potatoes. the food took a really long time to come out and when it did, the bisque was cancelled because it was going to come out with the meal when we had requested it in advance. We finally got the seafood platter and the burger but it took another 20mins to get any of the sauces we had previously requested and another 10mins to get the mashed sweet potatoes. when the food does come it’s good but there shouldn’t be this many delays all the time

We selected this location for 2 reasons: parking shouldn’t be an issue, and it had the best rating of the 3 in New Orleans.
