I’m from Pearland and have always wanted to come here. Last night, I finally did, and I wasn’t disappointed! I had so much fun!! They have pool, darts, karaoke and vibes. It reminded me of those awesome gritty bars in Lubbock I used to know and love. Amber the bartender/waitress was awesome and very friendly. They don’t serve liquor at Cooter Brown’s , but that didn’t bother me. I will be returning in the future for more good times.

Smoking is allowed inside. Ooof. It brings you back to when your uncle smelled like cigarettes, dirt and whiskey. The pool tables were lackluster. They’ve been cooter browned for too long. There are some poker machines, a few electronic dart boards and a small stage. Country Legends live here along with the rad tad regulars. Wear pants or shorts. Nothing fancy as you stick out like a nail waiting to get hammered (no pun intended). The bartender was nice and welcoming.

1st time here, won’t be out last. Came in after the Rodeo because who wants to pay $13 for a beer…?! Friendly Service and great prices. If you want a chill local bar with just beer this is it. Regulars are hilarious. Got to meet the owner too… Super funny & nice.

Came to give this place a rave review and noticed the comments about being refused service because of a service dog. I happened to arrive just as this was going on, and I believe there was more to that story. Don’t judge the establishment for refusing service if you arrive itching for a fight. The owner has been in business here for 17 years and his instincts for trouble brewing are pretty on point. That being said, I’ve been going here for about 2 months and always have a great time, fun, lots of regulars, love the atmosphere and other than the belligerent folks posting a week ago, never seen signs of an argument or fight. Keep up the good work Mr Mike!

She tried to scam me because the she thought I was drunk at 2am closing my tab. I am not. I bought one beer and asked for the receipt she “couldn’t find it” until I pressed her. The receipt said $4.25, the price of my beer. It was not my card number. Looked on my bank account and it said I was charged $59.99. Walked back in and confronted the bartender about it and of course, the charge was reversed. SCAMMERS. DO NOT GO HERE.

It would be a five if they only smoked outside. An outside patio for smoking would make this place a jewel. I saw a no smoking sign inside but if only they would enforce it.
