We recently moved to Prescott and was looking for “our watering hole”. Our realtor suggested Cooper’s Pub. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were home! The staff is so welcoming and friendly . The food is awesome, both the puzza and burgers. The drink prices are good especially when you compare them to chain restaurants. Children are allowed as well as dogs however if you have the option, I would say leave the kiddies at home. The language can get a little rough at times. The usual patrons are friendly and will strike up a conversation with you if you’re open to it. My husband and I have our favorite bartenders. Shout out to Tristan and Sarah. These 2 always have a smile on their face and always provide the best service and the best cocktails. Happy hour is from 3-6 daily and all day on Sunday. They have karaoke on Friday nights. It’s always fun to hear Jerry sing! The owner, Tim, always stops by to say Hi and his daughter, Bailey is one of the hardest working people I have ever met. So if you’re looking for your new hangout, give Cooper’s a try. I promise you will be back! Thank you Cooper’s for accepting us into your family!!

The food was amazing!!! We got the spicy Chicken Cordon Blue w/ avocado. The seasoning was perfect. We also got the mango habanero and Buffalo hot wings. They were deliciously crunchy. The banana bread sunday was also very good!! The staff was friendly and gave us excellent customer service. And it’s not too expensive either!!

The owners and the bar tender are friendly and attentive. We were here 4 years ago, and they were great. We are here again and definitely not disappointed. We also had the garlic lovers steak sandwich. No picture but my husband loved it.

Delicious food & wonderful people. It’s attached to La Quinta but has it’s own entry as well. We tried the favorites marked on menu. Very good, the fish sandwich, garlic steak sandwich, chillie soup, onion rings & zucchini fries. YUM!

I had the fried cheese curds and BSA burger.

Fried cheese curds were nothing special and neither was the Burger to be honest.

Service was good. Deb was the bartender. Very nice and talkative albeit a little slow and old.

It’s your standard small town bar. Family run. Nothing to write home about.

I was staying at the LaQuinta and decided to review Coopers Pub which is located in the same building.

I do not drink anymore, so I was only interested in the food, and I had never been in a pub before, so it was interesting to observe.

The actual pub is rather small, like you would expect of any local bar. There was a counter and the bartender was listening to a man sitting at the counter talk about his life.

There were several booths along the walls and tables with chairs in the center of the room. I ordered at the counter and the bar tender took my order. She offered to have the food delivered to my room, but I was in no hurry and wanted to experience the atmosphere so I waited.

Sitting at the booths opposite the bar, were two booths, each with a couple of very senior citizens. They all sat looking forward towards the bar area sitting motionless, eye’s wide open and just staring. The room is kind of dim, and they made me feel like I was in a M. Night Shyamalan thriller movie. As a filmmaker, its was quite entertaining watching them.

The person at the bar apparently was a regular, because as he was leaving he told the bartender he’d be back in later in the week to tell her more about whatever life event he had been sharing with her. She was friendly and said O.K. see you soon.

The Kitchen is in a different area next to the pub, and a nice woman brought me my order.

I ordered the BSA Burger and a side order of Deep Fried Pickles with ranch dressing. I was really looking forward to the fried dill pickles, because I hadn’t had them in eleven years. No one sells them in California.

The BSA (Bacon Swiss Avocado Burger) had some of the best bacon I’ve ever tasted, the burger was very beefy, but they must have been out of Avocado or only put a little on it, because I didn’t taste any at all. Overall it was a very good hamburger and I didn’t have to drive anywhere to get it. A bit on the pricey side, but that bacon sure was good.

The deep fried dill pickles were long sliced, pretty oily, and a bit to salty for me. Wasn’t quite what I had been expecting or dreaming of, I think i would go for French fries next time. Good, but not great. I kept thinking maybe they were salty since they’re being sold in a pub where people would normally be drinking. May have been just the salt from the pickles, but it tasted like salt had been added, maybe to the batter.

The BSA was $14 and the Fried Pickles was $9. I don’t regret trying it since I like to review new locations, and that bacon was amazing and I didn’t have to drive 3 to 6 miles for food, but I decided to only eat there once since I had other places to review in the area.

The pizza was just disappointing. It was so thin and burnt. The wings were great though ($9 for 6). I could’ve had two orders of wings and skipped on the pizza. The price was steep! $15.50 for a 10” is red flag #1 I guess they get away with it by being an attached restaurant to an isolated hotel. Total with tip and tax it came out to be $32 for two items.

Staff was really friendly and the food was delicious!! They make their own buns for the burgers and they were so soft and fluffy. My burger was juicy and cooked wonderfully. My mom and I said this is our new “secret spot” where we will go for our lunch dates. The prices were excellent too! I’ve always wanted to try this place and I’m so glad I did.
