If you like old school BBQ service. This is it. You get to pick your own meat. Great side dishes. BBQ served on butcher paper. The food was great. Brisket was tender and juicy. A definite must try if you haven’t had it. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This place rocked!!! It’s barbecue so be prepared to pay but it was some of the best BBQ my wife has ever had!!!! We don’t do pork so we were a bit limited but the beef ribs were the shiz-nit!!! Sides were solid, brisket was cooked excellently and we had a whole chicken which had a good combination of smoke and spice. All in all this is a well balanced BBQ place and it shows that they cook with care and love.❤️

AMAZING vinegar style pit sauce and ribs! A previous reviewer noted to get there early since they close earlier than most places. I would say they are right since we got there at 4pm and not all options were available at that time. The staff is very kind and helpful. You can’t go wrong with any of the proteins – they’re truly tasty.

Wow!!! The most amazing BBQ that I have had in a very very long time! They even let you walk up to the pit to see the meat on the pit and select it. I have been on a quest to find awesome barbecue and this place is the best I have found so far! They have been around since 1953 and they are the original. There are other Coopers BBQ that tried a spin off but they are different. This one is the original. They start preparing the mesquite wood the day before and burning it to prepare the coals. Then they add the brisket in giant pits the wee hours of the morning to have it ready later than day. It’s a labor of love and pride to prepare barbecue this way and it shows. If you are in the area, please please try this amazing BBQ, you will be happy you did. Everyone there is friendly, helpful and takes pride in what they do which is to make the most amazing BBQ. And they have outdoor seating and are dog friendly. Highly Recommend!

This was the best BBQ I’ve had in ALL, you heard me right, **ALL** of Texas! Brisket? Of the chain. Complementary beans? 11/10. Pork ribs plus the homemade smokey strawberry bbq sauce? 110/10. I would say I’m at a loss for words; however, that is clearly not the case, I’m down right giddy after eating here.

This awesome BBQ restaurant took care of our group of 36 people last Saturday morning. We had 22 Ford Tremor trucks. Occupied thier entire parking lot, and then some. Not only was it effortless for them and thier professional staff, the food was the absolute best I have ever had at any Texas BBQ restaurant and I have eaten at many, including 5 other Coopers branded stores. It was so delicious, moist, and great flavor. Many in our group 100% agreed. You will not go wrong!

This place was very interesting. I saw people having a good time and eating happily. I waited outside for someone to take my order because there was a sign that said “order your meat here” and it was really hot and I was in a time crunch so I had to leave without ordering anything. I couldn’t get a detailed review but it is still a good place.

Best BBQ of our lives. We were driving by and saw your sign out of the corner of our eyes and did a u-turn at the light. So glad we did. Only hope we get to come back someday! Thank you for what you do and for the unique experience of trying your goat sausage, fantastic! Brisket was so flavorful, turkey was moist and fresh tasting, and my husband said the regular sausage was the best he’s ever had. The jalapeño chicken poppers were a bit dry and we were hoping there was cream cheese in there but they were still good. Beans were good and a nice addition to the meal, though the other side options were a bit limited. Definitely go there for the meat not the sides and we wouldn’t complain too much about that. Next time we’ll try the prime rib!

On the road traveling, and we happen to stumble upon this bbq joint. The beef ribs were pretty darn good with flavor and didn’t need any sauce, which is always a good cue on good bbq.
