Our party of five visited Cooper’s Hawk on a brisk Sunday afternoon in mid-January 2026, and it was the perfect introduction to the establishment. We started with the wine tasting (by reservation), served by Otis. He was fantastic- kind, funny, and attentive; creating a memorable first experience at Cooper’s Hawk. I enjoyed the sweet tasting- a selection of eight sweet wine samples. I especially appreciated the wine guide; provided at the bar with a visual showcasing food pairings, origin, personality, an additional pairing, and a graphic displaying the levels of sweetness, tannin, acidity, body, and alcohol. I was satisfied with the cost of the wine tasting- I think I spent less than $20 after tax and tip.
After we got a little tipsy from the tasting, we made our way to the dining room for a delicious lunch. Ty provided impeccable service- making recommendations and keeping us entertained, all while the dining room was packed with diners. I enjoyed the gnocchi carbonara lunch portion, which was absolutely plenty following the complimentary bread. The cost felt steep for a lunch portion, $19.99, but you get what you pay for and I was so satisfied. I could have rolled out the door. I had a taste of Dana’s parmesan encrusted chicken, which was also excellent. Both dishes recommended by Ty.
The space is upscale- nicely decorated, clean as a whistle, and cozy.

I’ve been wanting to eat at this restaurant/winery for some time now, and finally got to do that last night, it did not disappoint. We had a large retirement party (18 people). They were able to accommodate our entire party, but they split the tables up which was a little disappointing. We had 2 tables of 9. The wait staff was amazing they did an awesome job, and catered to our every need, even though the place was absolutely packed. The food was absolutely outstanding, I had the beef short ribs which were the best I have ever eaten anywhere! I also tasted the mahi-mahi, the pecan crusted grouper, as well as the short rib risotto. Everything I tasted was top tier and top notch! I can’t wait to go back!!!

I gave this experience 5 stars as it was my first time at this restaurant. The suggestions by our server was awesome, and she was very pleasant. I enjoyed our wines and ended up joining the club and getting 2 more bottles. This was a good Afternoon date I shared with my wife. Awesome Job guys!

Love this place! Their wine selection is great, I love the sparkling almond. It’s beautiful inside. It’s fairly quite and intimate. The food alone is enough reason to go there. Their short ribs are the best ive had. My wife’s steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The waitress was busy but still was attentive, fun, and kind. Can’t recommend it enough

Kay R was our server and she was delightful and calm. She recommended items on the menu and pairing wines. I’m not usually a drinker of alcohol so she gave us a taste of the new strawberry and elderflower Vivante and it was very refreshing.
I had the soy and ginger salmon and it was deliciousssss. The crab and lobster bisque and it was hot, creamy and full of filling! Kay said everything is made from scratch! The seasonal dessert brownie with pistachio ice cream was delicious! The manager came to say hi afterwards, delightful trip, will be back 10/10

I actually was excited to be here but we sat from 5:40-7:12 before we got our dinner and it was not hot, it was lukewarm. We had a hard time getting our drinks— took about an hour, and it took 45 minutes to be told they were out of a certain liquor, took a while for appetizers. Meanwhile we’ve watched parties come in well after us and get full service, multiple drinks, no delays on food. It’s frustrating. We kept asking for things that we just weren’t getting— water, bread, our drinks, appetizers. I just want to eat and leave now. My friend’s risotto was hard. My rice was like it was old. I’m totally disappointed. And it was my friend’s bday. Disappointed in our server Molly— I’m sure she’s sweet and some of this may have been out of her control— the server who brought the food looked over it. But overall, would not recommend.

I dined at Cooper’s Hawk on Saturday evening with family to celebrate special moments in our lives. We had a 4 PM reservation, and while our waitress, Abbi, appeared to be relatively new, she was mostly friendly. However, we did experience significant delays in her service—she took a long time to refill water, box up leftovers, and check in with us about our meals and drink orders. We understood the restaurant was busy and extended grace for the delays.
When it was time to settle the bill, we asked for two separate checks. I paid with my debit card, while my sister placed $220 in cash in the bill folder. Abbi came back with my receipt and asked my sister if she needed change, returning the folder with $40 remaining. We were hoping she would break a $20 bill for a tip.
After waiting about 10 minutes for Abbi to return, we asked another staff member for change. He brought us two $10 bills for the $20. Shortly after, Abbi approached asking for a card to cover my sister’s bill of $180.56, which confused us as she had already paid with cash. We clarified the situation, but Abbi then brought over the manager, who questioned whether we had the right amount in the bill folder. Not wanting to create a scene, my sister and I stepped away to use the restroom, allowing our brother and cousin to address the manager.
To our surprise, instead of joining to help, Abbi happily took another table’s order. She never returned to apologize, leaving us to deal with the management team, who repeated the accusation regarding the bill.
Please note we were condescendingly asked multiple times if we were sure we placed the correct amount of money in the bill fold. This felt like a racially charged question, as if we are uneducated and lack the ability to do basic math. We felt uncomfortable, accused, and belittled providing our account of events multiple times while requesting to review any camera footage.
After further deliberation, the management stated they would cover the bill and invited us back another time for a better experience. We were not compensated with a gift card or bill adjustment for the additional 30 minutes of time taken to be questioned. Unfortunately, our night out—which was meant to celebrate my cousin’s victory against cancer and new career opportunities—was marred by this unsettling experience.
Having frequented Cooper’s Hawk for years, I never imagined facing such treatment. The combination of inadequate service, being wrongly accused, and the unpleasant atmosphere left a sour note on what was meant to be a joyous occasion.

I recently visited Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant, and it was such a great experience. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with complimentary wine tastings that kick things off on the right note.
I had the Chilaquiles—absolutely delicious—and paired it with a Cranberry Spritz that was refreshing, festive, and perfectly balanced.
The food was flavorful and beautifully presented, and the service was attentive from start to finish. Whether you’re there for a wine flight, brunch with friends, or a casual lunch, Cooper’s Hawk delivers a consistently enjoyable experience.

Stopped here to do a wine tasting on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. It was pretty crowded when we arrived inside at the tasting station but we were able to squeeze in and find a spot. There were only 2 workers behind the counter handling all of the guest but they did a great job taking care of everyone. One of the workers was supposed to be off work but stayed to help clear the area before they left for the day. That speaks volumes for the customer service they provide. I tried the selection variety for my tasting and was impressed. Every wine was unique and was delicious. I really fell in love with the 2 monthly special wines you can only get if you had a membership. But of course I would lol!!!! I was offered to join the club to take full advantage but declined since I am already a wine club member elsewhere. If i wasn’t I probably would have joined for sure because the wines were that good!!!!
