I’ve been to several Cooper’s Hawk locations over the years, and I can confidently say that Paige and her team set the bar for service. From the moment you walk in, you feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, and every detail—from wine recommendations to timing of courses—is handled with professionalism and warmth.
What really stands out is how consistent and seamless the experience feels. No matter how busy the restaurant is, Paige and her team make you feel like you’re their top priority. They even went the extra mile by carefully boxing up our food so it was neat, secure, and ready to enjoy later. On top of that, they surprised me with a special birthday treat to celebrate my belated birthday—a thoughtful touch that made the night feel extra memorable.
Compared to other restaurants I’ve visited, the level of care and attention here is unmatched. Dining out should feel special, and thanks to Paige and her team, it always does. They’ve turned great food and wine into an even greater experience.

Amazing food. Parmessan crusted filet medallions cut with a butter knife. Perfect medium rare. Pear martini was like taking a bite out of a fresh pear. Short rib mac n cheese was delicious. Fresh warm pretzel rolls…yummy. Best dinner we have had in a lonnnggg time. Olivia our server was so sweet…and absolutely delightful. Thank you!

When you come here, you know you’re going to get great food and great wine. What I really love about Cooper’s Hawk are the little things – the small touches that only a friendly staff member orserver can give. Take today, for example: every year my friend Rose and I get together to celebrate our collective September birthdays. We never told the staff member this, but she picked up on it immediately and came out to our table with a small token of our shared celebration. Those little touches make for a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this place!

The atmosphere is very friendly, and the staff are knowledgeable about the dishes being served. I highly recommend trying the drink pairings with your meal — they really elevate the experience. The PBJ Old Fashioned is a standout cocktail worth trying, but be sure not to mix it with other drinks.

We have dined here many times, and our last two visits were excellent, with attentive service and a great overall experience. We are not demanding guests, but we do expect basic attention to detail, taking orders carefully, following up, ensuring food is served properly and on time, and keeping wine glasses filled. Nothing out of the ordinary, especially when you are the only table being served.
Unfortunately, this Saturday visit fell short of those expectations. Our server seemed disengaged and uninterested in providing service. While she checked in a few times, it felt rushed and inattentive. One of the soups we ordered was never served, and it also remained on the bill.
The manager stepped in at the end and handled the situation professionally and courteously, exactly as a good manager should. We appreciated how he took ownership and resolved the issue.
We normally do not leave negative reviews, and we truly hope this feedback is used constructively, for training and motivating the staff. We are Wine Club members, we genuinely enjoy the food here, and we typically tip very well. This time, however, the service simply did not warrant it.
This was meant to be a simple family dinner with a consistently great experience, as we have had before. While the food was very good, the disappointing service left a negative impression. We hope our next visit reflects the high standard we know Cooper’s Hawk is capable of delivering.

Went for lunch with my co-workers and had a great time. We got sat right away. The server David was knowledgeable with the food and wine. David was also funny and had us laughing. Food was excellent, prime sandwich will always be my favorite. We’ll definitely be coming back more often.

We have been wine club members for many years. We usually go to the Arlington Heights location but came to the Kildeer restaurant tonight for the first time to entertain friends. Our server was friendly and great. The food was superb as we’ve come to expect from CH. There was a problem in the kitchen with our order, and while we didn’t complain, a manager came to our table to apologize and more than made up for the error. The customer service we received was first class! We would not hesitate to come here again.
