As a local DJ hosting The Sip and Slow Jam Sing-Along dinner parties in the cellar room monthly at Cooper’s Hawk, I can honestly say there’s no place quite like it. The cellar room has an intimate, soulful vibe that perfectly complements my events, but what truly elevates the experience is the Cooper’s Hawk team. The staff are genuinely amazing—always attentive, friendly, and go the extra mile to make everyone feel at home. The restaurant itself is top-tier, offering an incredible menu with delicious, perfectly prepared food every time. And of course, the wine selection is exceptional, with something to delight every palate. Every event here feels special because of the seamless service and fantastic hospitality. If you’re looking for a unique spot where stellar music, phenomenal food and wine, and outstanding staff come together, Cooper’s Hawk and the Sip and Slow Jam Sing-Along dinner party with DJ Lady Groove is an absolute must-visit! It was my first time at Cooper’s Hawk on Jan 1st of 2026. A good start to the New Year! When my friends and I walked in we were very surprised there weren’t many people there at 6pm. My friend said sometimes there’s so many people there’s no where to stand. The Ambiance was nice but while walking to the women’s restroom there was toilet paper all over the front door of the mens restroom. But anyways now moving on to the Wine Tasting.
My personal Favorites were the Mango Dragonfruit, Strawberry Rhubarb, & the Vin Chocolate Almond Oh my goodness i was soo Surprised how it tasted like a Tootsie Roll. It was well paired with a Chocolate Peppermint Truffle. Yumm…
I also got to try the Cooper’s Hawk Lux Ice Wine oh boy was i surprised how sweet it was with the strong honey texture. Which I definitely loved.
Now moving on to the food. We tried the Crispy Brussel Sprouts (never new Brussel sprouts tasted this good)
Caprese Flatbread (The Balsamic Glaze was light not too overpowering. Went well with the cherry tomatoes)
Chicken Madeira (was good just wish it was a tad less salty)
My friends got the Country Rigatoni (he really enjoyed it)
Flatbread Salad Combination (my other friend also enjoyed hers)
A Burger (not sure which one she ordered. But she said it was good)
As for the dessert. I was a bit disappointed on the Salted Carmel Creme Brulee. All you can taste was the Carmel and Salt. When you say fresh Berries I would of expected more than just 1 black berry and half a strawberry. But overall the experience was nice. Will definitely be back again.

Attended an industry event here with heavy appetizers and drinks. Everything was tasty, but the highlight was before the event started. We arrived during happy hour and I ordered the sangria flight. Not only was it very generous servings, but they were all fantastic!! And the price was great! The strawberry was my favorite, but every one was different and unique flavors. Highly recommend! The staff was also super friendly and made sure we knew when and where we needed to go for our event. Great location and great event space.

I made a reservation through open table for my wife and I for an anniversary dinner and requested a booth. Done! Perfect.
The food was great! We had the Drunken Shrimp and a cup of their crab, Shrimp and Lobster bisque which was so good!
For dinner I had the Chorizo/Chicken Enchaladas and the wife had the Surf &Turf Medallions and Ahi Tuna. Again, very delicious.
What the best part was was our server who was not only fabulous and fun, but of Sicilian & Swedish descent, like myself. My wife got a total kick out of that. It’s not a combo you run into often.

Nicholes (Nick) was an amazingly wonderful server. He made sure my husband and I enjoyed our valentines dinner. I had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and broccoli, and my husband had the salmon with the coleslaw and mashed potatoes❤️ We enjoyed the romance red wine, which was satisfyingly delicious And we ended the night with dessert. I had the banana pie and my husband had the chocolate cake. Thank you for An amazing night

This was a tale of ups and downs. The downs were the entrees. The skirt steak was just warm and very chewy. The pork chop was tender and very tasty, but the temperature was just warm as well. Both entrees fries were cold, and I did send mine back for a hot replacement, and they were very good. Now for the ups. The pork chops tasted amazing! The lobster bisque was hot, and hardy, making it a great pick. Our starter was the bacon wrapped shrimp, and I absolutely loved it. We had a new server on day one (Nikki) and she was amazing. I am not knowledgeable in wine so it was a bit overwhelming when trying to decide what to try and pair with my meal. I tried the paired sample (thanks to Nikki) and did not like it at all. I explained what I didn’t like, and Nikki directed me from a red to a white. She suggested 2, and I gave her the difficult task of choosing my wine. When she brought it out, and the liquid hit my lips for the first time (after a taste of the pork chop) my senses screamed with joy as the refreshing taste cleared my pallette. Nicki could not have made a better choice and somehow took the words that escaped my tongue by what felt like a theft of my memories directly from my brain. It was a magical moment. So, our experience has ups and downs. The food on its own might not have brought us back, but because of Nikki’s phenomenal service, I anticipate coming again soon!

Cooper’s Hawk is a great meeting place. It’s easily accessed off the freeway and has ample parking. The restaurant offers catering and has banquet offerings as well.
The front area where you checkin is a huge bar (stand up only) whereby you can try the many wines they offer. After all this is a winery! Dining is in the rear and seating is nicely spaced out.
Kelly our server did an excellent job of explaining the menu. She checked on us often and refilled our beverages before we even asked. She was personable and we enjoyed her hospitality.
They have a brunch menu on weekends, offer daily specials, lighter calorie plate menu and also have a nice variety of options on the regular menu that appeal to everyone’s meal choices.
The warm pretzel bread was a perfect starter with our tortilla soup and the starter salad. I ordered the chicken piccata which was served with pasta and asparagus. The sauce was a little thicker than other piccata’s I’ve had and more like a gravy. However, It was full of flavor, plentiful with capers and complimented the pasta nicely.
The Napa Chicken Salad was full of all the ingredients listed but didn’t have much chicken.
The deserts are made on the premises and the chocolate ganache cake didn’t disappoint!
The temperature in the dining area was ok but we found It chilly with a draft in the booths by the windows and we had to put our jackets back on to stay warm.
All in all we had a nice time and I would dine with them again but sit at a table in the middle vs by the windows.

My family just celebrated our mother’s 95th birthday in a private room here. It’s an absolutely beautiful room with a reception area and bar. We had close to 70 people and everyone was very impressed with the venue. Delicious food, wine, and appetizers! The utmost professionalism with all of the staff. I would highly recommend this for anyone planning a special event. It was so perfect.

I attended an event there in December a Sip and Slow Jam Sing-Along Dinner Party hosted by DJ Lady Groove. I had the time of my life! Everything from the time I walked in the door and up until I was departing was excellent can’t wait to return the atmosphere was crazy groovy!!!! A time was had!! Wow, food service superb! I even ordered food to take home! I purchased the tickets on Eventbrite. Yes, Cooper’s Hawk is definitely a outstanding place to visit!!!

We hosted my friend’s bridal shower this past weekend in The Loft at Cooper’s Hawk Arlington Heights, and everything was absolutely perfect! The entire experience—from planning to the day of the event—was flawless and stress-free. Kristina made coordination so easy the day of our event, and our servers Dakota, Joyca, and Maya were wonderful.
Both Samantha and Kelly worked together throughout the planning process — they were amazing to work with, communicated clearly, responded quickly, and answered all of my questions. Everyone had a great time, and the food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional.
I’ll definitely keep Cooper’s Hawk in mind for future events!
