I have been to Cooper’s Hawk many times. I enjoy this spot. I’ve tried their wine tasting which was pretty fun to do with a friend.

I highly recommend that if you want to eat here on the weekend to make reservations. This place gets packed. I had tried to go in the day before (Saturday) and learned that real quick.

This staff is very professional and polite. I want to shout out Marlee. She did an amazing job making sure we were taken care of and communicating with with often. It was starting to get busy, but she was still on point. Love her and I hope she and I can have some passion fruit sangria.

At this visit, I was not able to drink any alcohol, but Marlee put me on to the non-alcoholic wine. I went with the peach option. It was very nice and light.

I forgot that they serve this warm pretzel bread. We ordered the over the border egg rolls for the appetizer. It was really good. They have three different sauces to try with it.

For our entrees, we did a surf and turf which comes with Mary’s mashed potatoes and some veggies. I ordered the Parmesan crusted mahi mahi and the other entree was baked parmesan shrimp scampi.

Overall, the food was good. The service was excellent. I definitely recommend this place. I plan to look into the Wine Club. The manager provided me with useful information to get started.

Cooper’s Hawk is an amazing winery and restaurant with decent and innovative entrees paired with professional wine selections. Servers were wonderful. WiFi was fast. Their large dining room was almost full when we came on Thursday evening. Reservations could be recommended. There are wine displays, a great bar, a second floor, a great patio, private rooms, and even a standing-up wine room.
We came here for restaurant week. We got the lobster bisque, pork entree, crème brûlée , and jambalaya. Everything tasted amazing with innovative flavors. The lobster bisque was authentic with large pieces of lobsters. The juicy pork was toasted well with lovely toppings and sides. The mashed potatoes tasted wonderful with fried onions. The crème brûlée was impressive with a bitter taste of coffee and a crispy sugar surface. The jambalaya was flavorful with fresh shrimps. The free pretzel roll with cream could be the best of the town.
Compared with the bad experience at the Guild House, the restaurant week here was much better. We got the exactly same pork entree combo. Cooper’s Hawk entree sizes were large with impressive flavors. Guild House’s entrees were mediocre with small sizes. Cooper’s Hawk is my fine dining champion of the Columbus restaurant week this winter.

Wow. That’s the best sentiment for This place. We went in as novices, neophytes, if you will and were thoroughly impressed. It was wine tasting hour and we were in for a treat. The costs were lower than expected and the quality was phenomenal. The only 4 star here is because the tender was a bit slow in responding. We had our flight of wines for the tasting and they were great. We followed it up with a meal that was delicious and hot. We were impressed by the entire atmosphere and very pleased with our server. She deserves 5 Stars. I wish I could remember her name, but she was excellent. I will visit Cooper’s Hawk again for sure. In my home city this time, to see if it is as excellent. Les Excellent.

Ohh where to start. I enjoy this place so much. Whenever I host my paint and sips or book club meetings I always come grab a box of different flavors. I can’t wait to try the new lavender bees knees.. It was out when I went.. So to start. I came early was greeted by a lovely lady who helped me choose a wine and also walked me thru the tasting process since I always just come and go. She was nice. It was when me and a few others went to taste the wine. We were rushed for sure. She wasn’t as pleasant to us as she was to the wonderful couple next to us. To the point they said something. So fast forward I go to pay because my reservation time arrived to be seated. I handed her my card when she returned it she like threw it down. The lady next to me was like that was rude. Don’t give her a tip. So now it’s my sisters turn and of course she spoke up and said something about being rude and treating people accordingly. So fast forward we went to sit down and eat. Lord the lady natalia or something poor lady she was so slow. We were seated at 1:45 didn’t get food until after 2:40. Drinks came out watery after waiting 40mins. But the staff ms Donna came and saved the day also the manager Lakesha (lady with glasses) and a man with glasses came in and did exactly what they needed to do. They fixed the drinks properly and offered many accommodations. The overall experience wasn’t what i thought it would be. Still a fan of the wine but not the customer service. Oh also the staff who checked me in for my reservation was awesome! When in customer service even if you don’t like someone you still treat them with respect. You never know when entertaining an angel!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3.5–4 stars overall)

Visited Cooper’s Hawk tonight and had a mixed experience.

The restaurant was a bit busy when we arrived, but our waiter, Mason, eventually came over and opened by saying he would take exceptional care of us—which set a good expectation. We started with two house salads and learned they don’t offer French dressing. We also ordered the Over-the-Border Egg Rolls, which were actually very good—great flavor, especially with the additional sauces.

For dinner, my mom ordered the butterflied filet mignon based on the waiter’s recommendation. She requested it cooked through with no pink but still flavorful. I ordered the surf and turf with the pretzel-crusted pork chop, grouper, and roasted vegetables. We also added Betty’s Potatoes (scalloped potatoes), which are an absolute must-have if you like cheese and potatoes—very rich and very tasty.

The food came out quickly. Our reservation was at 7:00 PM, and dinner arrived around 7:30 PM, which was impressive.

Unfortunately, the service fell short after the initial greeting. Mason seemed disengaged and largely disappeared for most of the meal. We had to flag down other servers for basic items, including steak sauce that was forgotten. My mom said her filet was okay flavor-wise but ended up being very dry. We didn’t really see our waiter again until we were almost finished eating.

Overall, Cooper’s Hawk is usually solid, and as a 3-bottle wine club member, I generally enjoy dining here. I had a glass of Chocolate Noir , which was excellent as always. Tonight, though, I’d rate the experience about 6.5 out of 10, mainly due to service.

It’s still a great restaurant—especially if you enjoy wine tastings—but when it comes to dinner, the server truly makes or breaks the experience. Hopefully, next visit is stronger on the service side.

Truly enjoyed a filling dinner with my family. The service was great, and we didnt wait long to be seated or to receive our food. The wine selection and membership perks were well worth the investment. We will be back regularly to enjoy a relaxing family dinner.

After a long week, my husband and I headed to one of my favorite spots — Cooper’s Hawk — for Date Night. Even though I was late making a reservation, we still enjoyed an early dinner and a relaxing evening. The cocktails were on point, and the food was amazing! I had the Chicken Madeira, and my husband loved the Soy Ginger Atlantic Salmon — both were beautifully plated and full of flavor. Generous portions, great service, and a cozy vibe… Cooper’s Hawk never disappoints!

My boyfriend and I came for the thanksgiving meal as we aren’t celebrating until the weekend, and it was amazing. We had Ava as our server, and she was attentive, funny, and helped us have a great time. The turkey and stuffing was delicious, as is their red wine. We will definitely be coming back!

Brendon was out server. He was so kind and helped us celebrate our newly engagement. The food was fantastic and even had great recommendations for my Mother with her side substitutions. We will certainly be back to try more food and atmosphere.

CELIACS BEWARE!!!
My wife (who is celiac) and I went there to celebrate her birthday. We have been there many times and they have had good practices in the past when dealing with gluten allergies. The meal itself was good and it was gluten free. Our server was a bit distracted at times, which came to a head when they brought us the wrong leftover boxes and too a while to bring us the to go desserts we ordered. The dessert we ordered was the Gluten Free S’More Bundino. Our server gave us the non Gluten Free version. We didn’t notice until after my wife ate it, thinking it must use gluten free graham cracker crust only to find out that the GF version has no graham cracker in it after calling the restaurant and speaking to a manager. Our server was aware that my wife was gluten free due to an allergy, it was said several times. This sort of oversight is unacceptable and we probably will not be back. If you are a celiac I HIGHLY recommend you think twice about visiting. If you do go, triple check everything before eating.
